To wake up there is a time for this. The weather is not the same for all people. Some people are faster than others. The passing of time is an excellent revealer. Let time take its course. The end of the Watchtower is before us, more and more people are waking up today. Thanks for your video.

I'm doing good, i recorded this last Sunday. Put in your thoughts and suggestions to those who wants to wake their families and friends, I'll be looking forward to it. Take care
it's good to see you again , , so for me , i joined the j-dubs when i was 23 , after a few years , i saw the absurdity of it and left , no big deal , i had family to return to , , but for born and raised in the cult, it is so much different , , anyway the most important thing to guard , cherish , and protect , is yourself ! know that for sure ! , , if your family, including your children, know you are secure in your own skin , , that is about the best you can do , , if they never leave , what happens , they grow old and then pass on , , they have spent their life as a slave to a publishing/real estate empire , , it's sad but at least there is no anti-armageden to get them , , and with the virus and global warming , , there are bigger issues than what bible one is selling , , Thanks Stella , , be safe : ) 👍
Thanks for the video! Your experiences with your friends sounded really rough. I'm sorry you went through that. I am not shunned by my JW family because I was never baptized. I keep up to date with the latest "truth", because I hope that an opportunity will come along where I could say some small thing that would get them to start thinking. Not sure it will every happen. They have more of 50 years of indoctrination from childhood on. There is very little chance that anything that I could say would break through that. Everybody has their own path to walk.
I think people often have to wake up on their own, but if I had a JW friend I'd at least want to talk to them about the blood issue. The willingness to give up for your life for Watchtower's interpretation is some really heavy stuff. I'd want to ask how they can be so sure Watchtower is right about this.
this is something that i don't understand before, my sister who was some years ago was disfellowshipped and had no intention of going back, she went inside Catholic church, smoke, drink alcohol and was in union with a non jw guy but not legally married, you will think that it will be easy for her to have a blood transfusion when she needed medical operation but she won't. she did all the things forbidden but not take the blood. but the blood policy is the one that puts the lives of jws in danger, they are ready to die than receive blood. hope jws see the danger and the reality

I’d like to comment on this, but I ask the reader to remember this is just my perspective, my opinion. Brace thyself for wordiness. There are a couple of questions at play here; “Is it WORTH it trying to wake the JW or POMI” and “Should you do so?” To address the first question; It totally depends on what “worth” means. For ME, “worth” means, what does it cost to you (what will you expend in your efforts), and what will it cost the POMI to eventually become an POMO or a JW leaving? Those of us who have already withdrawn our support, know the emotional and mental cost of leaving. Do you want your family to go through that? Yes, the indoctrination is so pervasive that even POMI’s are still lock-brained, and sadly many of them have become reserved to the notion that they will die at the hands of the god who has expressed his wrath so many times before. They feel like (like you said Stella) they deserve to be shunned and eventually destroyed. That ties in the what it will cost them. What will they have to pay when they become POMO. That religion is so dreadful in it’s treatment to those who simply leave, that there is almost no pain like it. Here’s this : When a person manages to convince/assist someone to take a particular course, he/she has to be prepared for the byproducts of that assistance. It’s not as simple as saying: ‘a firefighter is charged with putting out the fire and rescuing those trapped, but not responsible to find new housing, funding and new social structure.’ Those who have a hand in rescuing JW’s from this evil dumpster fire, MUST be prepared to assist in many ways, including helping to sure up another, perhaps spiritual, foundation. From this perspective, it seems best to allow those who are asleep to remain asleep and valiantly monitor their safety while they sleepwalk. One youtuber made a point that really resonated with me at the time, that, ‘it’s almost best that some never wake up (I don’t really like the phrase “wake up” or “woke”, but that is a topic for another time) especially if they’ve allowed their child to die from refusing blood transfusion. The heartbreak and guilt that such one will almost certainly suffer, from the realization of what they’ve done, can be beyond devastating.’ On the other hand, what will be gained by their departure? The freedom of thought, will, expression, personal development and more might be their lot. Is THAT what you want for your family and friends? Naturally, yes. Lots to think about to be sure. The second question is, SHOULD you try to wake up the all-in JW? Simply put, I think “No”, unless like you suggested, Stella, they open the door. Even at that, proceed with caution and make your discussions light and brief. They will need time to come up for air regularly. To come to the realization that this is not the Truth, and then to learn more hidden facts, will create a sense of hyperventilation or drowning. Don’t drown them. The all-in JW is ALL-IN, (many times, even the POMI) and are committed to the cause, and will view all attempts to rescue them as attacks from the devil. They will dig in their heels more robustly, being convinced that this attack is exactly the proof that they are THE true religion. I think that a much better approach is to realize that each person must have their own “road to Damascus moment”. Understand that reference? Bible book of Acts chapter nine; specifically vs 1-16 and Acts 26:12-18. Read at your leisure. Journeymananew2019@gmail.com if you would like to discuss with me offline. IMPORTANT: I refer to those scriptures to only explain my reference there, NOT to express any interest in Christianity or imply that I am pushing this biblical narrative. I have departed from that paradigm, and am not looking for “assistance” to realign with that. With deep respect. -Peace. 🙏🏾
Wow, POMI is not common at all - I guess mostly ones that were excommunicated for reasons that cannot be defended, so just like your friend who want back in, he must be one of those fraught with guilt for his actions and thus he yearns to go back. I myself just faded like a well-worn jeans after my sister was excommunicated when I was nine and she 18. JW demanded that the family shun my sister; but as 9-year old, I had no conception of why I should break my feelings for my own sister, especially as I witness her suffering. I’m listening to you about your POMI friend; but still I can’t grasp that she now shuns you too. She went to college - was she not offered critical thinking skills there? :/ I guess there is a difference between people excommunicated without seeing the light and those of us leaving because we saw the light. I guess we all were ‘Old Testimony-stoned” with accusations of “being spiritually dead and thus be dead to the family and JW” and being “delivered to Satan” and other nonsense like that.... That Armageddon-nonsense should not be entertained either because a demonic cult like JW cannot possibly expect to be on the right side of a spiritual battle such as Armageddon! Don’t feel bad for being treated bad by bad people. I am glad to have met you here though. I think you should too; but I’m going to write a book about my experiences; but then again, there are so many books to write!!!! ^_^
If you manage to maintain contact, you can show by example how leaving the cult does not lead to becoming a drug addict, alcoholic, prostitute, criminal in Satan's world! You can even dress like it's the 1950s if you want to, without having to be in a cult.

No JW will wake up until they are waking up internally already. If they are comfortably numb, like most JWs, their minds are closed.
