Omg I’ve been looking for a cheap and utilitarian idea and was imagining something like this. Amazing ! I will try this ! I was thinking I could do several cans meaning non stop hole making while cook can are reheating 😅
Part of me was really loving this but part of me was thinking of time factor re-heating the can. Duh??? Like the old days when they used an iron heated on the wood burning stove....they had more than one iron. THANK YOU...Jesus bless.
You had me with ‘I caught the bathroom on fire’… love this solution for those of us prone to catching things on fire. I just caused a fire on the patio recently.
HAHAHA I got alot of stories... thanks for stopping by... sorry My dad passed away I had to take time to go see him before he died and be with my mom after... thanks for coming by and WELCOME i am back to make my dad proud...
@@OrganicRawRootsFarmDid it tonight and worked well. Though I made the mistake of a can with a lip so had some inconsistency. Next time will find a can with no lip (amazing how when you need one there is no can to be found in your recycling bin or odds'n'end collection).
it saves so much money and you can get the big fruit cans and have bigger holes... I didnt think of that til a few weeks ago hahahaha.... some much easier to me... thanks for stopping by
Wow great idea : ) Wonderful Video my Friend : ) Full View : ) Thank You For Sharing this Video : ) Have a Fabulous weekend : ) Stay safe and Healthy : )
This is terrific. I love his ingenuity and the fact that you were ok with his solution. Did you use charcoal or just some wood? You could easily use different size cans for whatever the plant size calls for. Really great!!! Jesus bless.
Hi sorry I had to work alot and do things with family.... Yes i use both when I do the holes... And true you can make them big or small, all up to you... Thank you for stopping by...
I love that!!! I've had 3 back surgeries and that would be a big help for me. I actually have a mini torch from Harbor Freight (I think) but still have to bend!
Thanks for coming over an watching... I think alot of people will be on budgets for awhile. So this is perfect. If you got a tin can a stick or rod.. Fire is free pretty much. IT WORKS. And I watched a few videos with a torch I would of set the whole place on fire and burnt the whole fabric up. They like dive on that thing hahaha. Love your girl stay safe
never would have thought to do this so clever and I would love to be connected on this RUclips journey so I can comment and like all your future videos! Hope you are OK with it! I left a like on this it was nr 25
I wonder...if you were to turn the can right side up and drop in a few briquets of charcoal if the bottom of the can would stay hot enough to burn holes without stopping??
This is great. How can you singe the edges so they don't unravel? I just have a small garden and just want to singe the edges on a few strips of the landscape fabric. Do you have any ideas?
The heat seals the end so it doesn't unravel. I forgot to say that.. man reason was to not waste propane. I seen people use a whole tank to make holes. Thanks for watching..
Thats just the way I did... HAHA I did not want them in straight rows... Sunflowers grew there.... I don't go by garden rules if you call that... Thanks for stopping by and commenting means alot
Its for sunflowers... An it did the trick I needed. I didn't have weeds to start.. CAUSE its in a HAY field... LOL!!!! And we have sand... We still use it... SO............ Plus it taught alot of people that love the idea of not wasting money on propane...That tagged me in there videos or Instagram post!!! Now do veggies I do them different... So, It's an idea you use and do it your way....

it saves so much money and you can get the big fruit cans and have bigger holes... I didnt think of that til a few weeks ago hahahaha.... some much easier to me... thanks for stopping by

Genius 😀😀😀😀 thank you
Thank you so much
I wonder if you flip the can the other way and put coals inside if it would stay hot enough so you wouldn't have to keep reheating it 🤔
I thought about that to later on
@@OrganicRawRootsFarm lol isn't that how it seems to go 😅

Thanks for stopping by
My buddy has a farm and he showed me the land scape fabric he blew holes on with a propane torch. I told him about this idea,
It saves money! Someone told me to make the can where you can put coals it and keep it hot!
I wonder...if you were to turn the can right side up and drop in a few briquets of charcoal if the bottom of the can would stay hot enough to burn holes without stopping??
MIGHT have to TRY that one.. hahaha cool idea... thanks for coming in and stopping by...
🤣very smart 👌
Thank you

Try this way I think it will work for real... Thanks for stopping by.. try using different sizes to... And it cost nothing to try hahahaha
I use a hand torch. It kind of looks like a larger lighter, but it has a serious flame.
Hi there, new subcriber! I hope you have a wonderful day!
Hi thank you so much....
This is very clever but it will take a day and half to make the holes. Use a click, long nose,BBQ lighter and just burn away!!
It took me less then and hour to do about three of those i just did it for my sunflowers... I didnt put then in rows...
Nice video 👍👍👍😁
Thank you so much
Oh wow! That's kinda neat! It would take hours to do that with scissors or a knife!
The heat seals the end so it doesn't unravel. I forgot to say that.. man reason was to not waste propane. I seen people use a whole tank to make holes. Thanks for watching..
If you reverse the tin can you csn fill it with coal and not have the keep reheating
Omg I love that! I’ll share that on my Tik tok! If you got Tik tok check out us over there to! Thank you!!!!
Should have just mounted the can the other way and just put coals in it...
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ha i will try that in a few weeks wow... thanks Johnny.....
@@OrganicRawRootsFarm Hi. Did it work? 😃
@@amandar7719 The way i did it yes! I havnt done it the other way yet but I will give it a try
Why are your holes so random?

Wait what how did you set the bathroom on fire lol
Hahahaha 😝😘🤗🌻
we sale this fabric with holes
Very nice! Do you calb with content creators? I got 67k on tik Tok!
Lol, there's no point using weed barrier if you're putting that many holes in it
