Who all has gotten their hands on the Dye UL-I barrel system so far?! We think this is another great addition to the PWR insert barrel family!
One of the biggest benefits to this barrel system is that now between all three manufacturers (Carbon, Planet Eclipse, and Dye) you can get a WIDE range of bore sizes for that perfect paint-to-barrel bore match!

Well since i have a Planet Eclipses marker, ill go with the S63 barrel.
I’ve always been a fan of Dye Barrels, ever since I got my first all aluminum in 1998.
You should put the shooting clips back to back to hear the sound signature differences. Would be a nice touch to these videos
I have the s63 on my LV2, and picked up the ULi. The inserts don’t center on my s63 looking into the muzzle end. They all center perfectly on the ULi. Bore end of the Dye inserts are more rounded (inception inserts are the same) where eclipse are more squared off. To me, with the centering of the insert, and the more ramped breech end of the insert (old school mod to make the barrel easier on paint) the dye is superior.
Ul-I length is about 14.7/8 where the s63 is a solid 14.5. Both are fantastic barrels. I will say I seem to like the honing on the dye inserts more but the barrels themselves aren't very different. I run the UL-i on my cockers and the S63 on the PE guns. But Ive been running mostly the dye inserts. Not knocking the PE ones they are still good. But I like my dye inserts

I have a CS3 and last weekend I used the .682 ULI insert in my S63 barrel and it was money. The .681 that comes with the CS3 is a little to tight on a lot of paint brands. Planet should give you a .683 stock with the CS3. I was using Defy reliant paint. You guys should have tested the inserts of both brands between each of the barrels and see if there is any changes. 😊

Planet, Carbon, and Dye inserts are all made in 1 factory.
That is why tye fit Carbon, Dye and Planet.
There is a licensing agreement.

That thing looks like it's shooting hot There is a lot of smoking coming out of the barrel. Can you maybe Make a video talking about why that is.

They are the same thing besides the outer sleeve they are both PWR barrels. PE makes the odd numbers and dye is making even numbers. We’re going to probably see this become the standard for anyone including kits

These are not the longest bore barrels. Check out the Lucky Unitechs. The back is just to thread onto the marker and the front is the whole barrel.

I love to dye you uli Barrel, I know that there's videos about that Barrel I wanted to ask do you hot guys have any info on that new over core Barrel kit or a shooting video, as far as I know I seen a video of the barrel it has some kind of detents attached to the insert it's weird but I just was interested to see how it shoots there's no shooting videos
How do you want the holes to look? I had the uli and meh. Stick with s63.
Any paintball content is good content. It's nice to see more and more content on RUclips. I love to see more attention drawn to the sport that I've loved for over 20 years!
I would like some barrel kit weights and prices. The ULI definitely looks much better. I am NOT a fan of anything PE. Their markers have no soul and take no risks.
