Good trip. Oh to be young again. I've lived in NC for 15 years or so, and still haven't found any good places to fish near where I have lived. (5 different homes) Now I live 30 minutes south of Raleigh and still the same. Any decent looking bank fishing ponds or small lakes seem to be privately owned, and as far as creeks go, I still haven't found one that has a place where I feel it's safe enough to park. This video gives me new hope to continue to look. Thanks for sharing.
It's definitely not easy being a bank fisherman. Unfortunately, even for me, it takes a ton of commitment to be successful. I really appreciate your input on my channel. I am glad I can give you some new hope. Keep fishing, don't give up. You will eventually come out on top!

Spinning rods had 20lb main line test with a 30lb leader. My bait caster is spun up with 30lb mono and a 40lb leader. All Carolina rigs. I hope this helps and thanks for watching!

You need to fish Hyco Lake in the eastern part of NC .It's about 3 hrs away from hickory.Big large mouth bass,crappie,catfish and tilapia
