- Boris Karloff 'the Gentle Monster' - his house and grave
In this video I visit the viallage of Bramshott in England, the final home of horror icon Boris Karloff (best remembered for his role as the Frankenstine monster in Universal Moster Films). I also visit his modest grave site at Guilford Crematorium.

I always loved watching his TV series in the US, in early 60s, when I was a teenager, called "THRILLER". He was the host of the program . I will never forget the way he spoke about each episode, calling it a "THRI LAH" .
Excellent. Thank you so much. 🙏🙏👍👍🙏🙏
Thank you very much 👍
Fantastic episode LT. One of the best of his time. Great job mate 👏👏👏

Unusual location for his home there....and a very simple grave for ...as you say An Icon from early Hollywood !
Cheers 🎙🎶🥂

Thank you Monica

Very interesting and I agree that such a well known icon is buried so simp[y. He didnt live in a big fancy mansion either. It seems maybe he was a simple man and happy without living the high life like so many other Hollywood actors.
Thank you
👏👏👏👏
👍
I’m in walking distance from where he was born
Hi Robert, I should do another video about him sometime. Thanks for watching
Karloff can be seen along with a young Oliver Hardy in the 1925 Mabel Normand film "The Nickel Hopper."
Interesting, thanks for sharing
Interesting man...Home in the middle of the street.
Thank you
! am sure I saw another vid where it showed another garden close by like an allotment where he spent most of his time developing his ideas and horticultural experiments. One of the saddest scenes in all film history where he accidentally drowned the little girl in Frankenstein's Monster...
Thank you David
Very nice. I was born in 62 and dont remember him.
