Was like coming alive for the first time ..... No matter how many shows you were to of his ..... To get to where the tickets were being sold ..... Hell many people lost their jobs as their boss said no you can't leave work to get a ticket ..... Call someone to pick you up some ..... Ya ..... { As that would work } ..... We need you here ..... So I know four people who lost their jobs that day ..... I was one of them ..... And it was worth it ..... Many ..... Many times over ..... So In the arena ..... Once the the people got to their seats ..... They were whipping out their camera's or 8 mm's ..... To get ready to take pictures to them of a lifetime ..... As most everyone had a camera .... { With the cube four sided flash bulbs } ..... And man I can tell you it was loud as hell in there ..... I could not even hear what my girlfriend was saying when we first got to our seats ..... It was loud as hell ..... As people scrambled to find their seats and get ready ..... To see him in person ..... I think that the charge in the arena could have run the entire city's electrical grid that night ..... Maybe even for the next month are so ..... But at the Auditorium ..... Once the show was to start ..... WOW ..... The People were in absolute silence ..... Not like at other big name shows out there as I was too many in the day too .....Sammy Hagar ..... Bob Seger ..... AC-DC ..... Black Oak..... Matelica ..... ZZTop ..... And many Others ..... Excellent. I was at 2 of his concerts in 1972 at the age of 11. I still remember every...single..second. I had silent tears running down my face through the entire 1st concert and couldn't take my eyes off him. I was afraid to even blink in case I missed something.

Excellent. I was at 2 of his concerts in 1972 at the age of 11. I still remember every...single..second. I had silent tears running down my face through the entire 1st concert and couldn't take my eyes off him. I was afraid to even blink in case I missed something.

i have been to some of this concerts ! it is no words to tell yall how he makes every one feel ! a lot of young people think just because something is old it is no good ! well they are completely wrong ! all music is about one thing it is how does the singer make you feel ! every concerts he had all of them solid out with in 1 to two hours and people all the around the world come to see ELVIS ! no other person are able to do this ! great reaction !

fun fact, bc of those dancing legs of his, he was banned on TV from chest down... so while he was current, he was only televised from chest up...
He appeared 11 times on TV in the 50s and they only censored him 1 time..the last appearance in 1957 on the Ed Sullivan show. that one time turned into a major story and a joke for CBS.

I loved your reactions! They were as real as Elvis was real! The observations you made about his performance were very perceptive, and this is why the whole world fell in love with him, including me, who saw over 100 of his shows in Las Vegas! Although he was performing and entertaining, you see that he was also having fun just being himself....he wasn't "acting."
