Honestly, I think it's best that there is no Halo project announced. Halo needs a hiatus after Infinite, and they should wait till the Activision buyout goes through (assuming it will) and then give Halo to one of those studios. Although this would mean we won't get a new Halo for at least 5 years, but I think that's best. And like u said, they could release a Halo 3 Anniversary in the meantime to help with the wait.
To me, the showcase was amazing. But I won't be able to play a lot of these games. I can't play these open world RPGs anymore. Well I can, but I don't want to invest more than 20+ hours in a single player game. I just don't have the time and willpower to spend hundreds of hours like I used to during the pandemic / when I had less responsibilities as a young adult. I would like to see more semi-linear type of games, like System Shock and Prey, those games can be completed less than 20 hours.
Was really bummed that we didn't see any Gears or Halo, but I was super stoked about Cities Skylines 2! Also seeing Starfield was neat, but I'm really worried its all looks and no functionality. Will it be a broken mess on launch, or will it FINALLY break the cycle of bad starts for AAA games?
I'm a huge motorsport/sim racing fan so Forza was hype. Starfield looks interesting. I actually can't really think of anything that I found underwhelming besides Fallout 76 stuff lol.
I tuned out ~20min into the Starfield, as I don't need an hour long commercial for a single game to decide if I'm going to play it or not... Showcase was pretty boring overall. Fantasy RPG's are pretty low on my list of games to look forwards to. That felt like most of what they showed 😕
After hearing Starfield is still gonna be 30 FPS. All the hype is dead.Just when you think they're getting there shit together and have something positive to release. This comes out and they take another step backward. For Xbox fan's they need to not accept this and hold them accountable, so this doesn't keep happening, but they probably won't. Smh
@Liberty Prime For the red at 60FPS. I believe. Even last gen councols could run games at 60 FPS. It's not a secondary feature, it's an important aspect that affects the quality of the game as your playing it. Todd Howard is just out of touch. Xbox can't afford another block Buster game to fail. Let's see how it plays out
It’s 2023 and people are still shocked that a game as dense as this Starfield can’t run at 60 fps on consoles. This isn’t your standard third action person game where everything is linear.
@@Macktube just because most games run at 60 doesn’t mean every game can, the Xbox is limited in computing power and was already outdated the day it launched, every game is different and expecting every game to run at 60 regardless of size is ridiculous.
I appreciate your chill coverage without overhyping anything. Fresh air in the games coverage sphere for me to enjoy learning about the showcase.
Glad you enjoyed! :)
I thought the showcase was an A-. I think Halo fans have to get used to not being what Xbox revolves around anymore. It’s a new era.

Godd Howard!
I would have loved to see a new fuzion frenzy 😅 but i think thats just wishful thinking
dude that would have been so hype
What about stalker 2? It's supposed to be releasing soon but we saw nothing
They got hacked a bit ago and also the war so I wonder if it’s delayed

Why did anyone expect Halo at the show? 343 has been laid back so bad all they are capable of now is barely supporting the Halo Infinite live service.
Yes Halo 3 is the Goat but I had so much more fun on Halo 5 then Infinite it really sucks that we’ve gone this long without an amazing Halo game
PAYDAY 3 IS HYPE AS FUCK! besides that it was pretty mid
I just hope it’s good!
it was solid. Better than the disappointing PS5 showcase.

I am so disjointed there was no halo or gears

How is fans not accepting 30 fps going to make 60fps possible? The console just can’t run it.

Starfield is literally graphically insane to run on a xbox one bro...
Xbox snoozecase
Microsoft are pathetic, Halo 5 multiplayer was fantastic, and infinite is pathetic Because of leadership 🙄 😒
