I do want love, I do want partnership, I do want commitment, I do want happily ever after, I do want stability, but I'm not going to stop being picky. The two long-term relationships I've had (7-11 years) were traumatic and devastating. The upside is I did learn the lesson that I did far too much, which painted me as not knowing my worth, when it was really about knowing what I have to give. The love offers that I do seem to get, do not make sense to me. They are people that I don't understand how they can envision us as having anything in common. I have decided that for now I am going to hermit, and place my priorities on not just my work, but my children, my family, my friends, my house, my physical and emotional self... Maybe one day that will change, but for now I have a lot of healing to do. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this reading was not inspirational, and you definitely nailed the fact that I can get impulsive and anxious. I just won't be ready until I get over feeling defeated.
