Hillendale Farms Chicken Coop Fire Bozrah, Connecticut

At 1:08 pm on Saturday, 1/28/2023 the Bozrah Fire Department was dispatched to Hillendale Farms for a chicken coop fire. Crews arrived to a 400' chicken coop well involved and protected the exposures. The Bozrah, Yantic, Colchester, Taftville, East Great Plain, Norwich, Laurel Hill, Gardner Lake, Salem, Montville, Oakdale, Chesterfield, Baltic, Lebanon, Lisbon, Griswold, Preston and the Mohegan Tribal Fire Departments responded.
Unfortunately over 100,000 chickens died.
