Its an acro FPV racing miniquad carrying HDcam and gimbal (we usually carry hd cam but without gimbal), then the footage is stabilized. But still, the pilot has incredible skill! My fpv skill is no where near this guy!

Is it stabilized in any way. The fact that the horizon doesn’t tilt in any way makes me better for either a physical or software stabilizer
Tht's pretty neat. Almost makes me want to invest in a drone, but I have been on far too many shoots where the drones (DJI units) have inexplicably stopped working.

I can tell you just from the sound that that is a custom built fpv racing drone with a gimbal attached to it. I'm flying those myself, it's the only thing that's capable maneuvering at this speed in a forest.
Yep racer with gimbal, no doubt! Build one yourself, or buy one. FPV Racer rtf (ready to fly) are not that expensive any more and they work also (gotta add that gimbal though), it's just waays different to fly them precisely like here in the video. Seems to combine some masters, on sticks as on wheels! =p
Takes practice, but flying fpv, especially in acrobatic mode (FPV Freestyle), is very, very, very addictive I must say xD

FAKE, the movements are not of a race drone. The sound of the props spinning dont sync with the movements neither. Its another rider following him with a gimbal mounted and the sounds added after. BS
dStroy FPV it's a race quad with a gimbal bro, that's why the sounds don't match the camera, because the pilot is seeing the normal fpv feed, and the gimbal is just trying to keep pointing forward

I guess it's a gimbal mounted on another rider's helmet. BECAUSE , it goes up and down when passing the little bump, and it looks exactly like a camera on a helmet with gimbal.
That wasn't a drone..that was someone on a bike with a go pro..that's why the video was going up and down with every hill

If it was a real drone footage, the only thing they'd have to do to prove it, is just going off the trail only once. Or staying high in air after a "jump".

Shaperideshiot TV are you able to give us a spec list for the drone because apparently a lot of people who commented doesn’t want to believe that this is an fpv drone with a gimbal flying on Angle mode or Horizon mode. We’re not even sure if they have seen fpv drone footage that go faster than this. First of all they were not even paying attention to your thumbnail- MTB rider with the gimbal-equipped fpv drone on the right. SMH I wish I never read comments. Lots of trollers otherwise.

If you’re making a drone shot there are so many more things you couple done.
Every corner was a flat yaw spin. You follow the exact trail all the way. You could’ve gone between the trees. Gained more height in the open areas. Even got on to of the guy on the bike.
As it is it looks like someone has done this video on a bike and then put some drone sounds on top.

@SFPV Haha! Really, the guy flying this and following the path so perfectly would be unable to maybe take a detour between a couple of trees. There are various parts where they pilot has to go around a hairpin and the straight route would be between two trees but it's never taken. You're telling me that whenever you go around a corner you always make a flat yaw spin? From your videos... you are doing what I mentioned in every single one of your racing videos. Yes, the point is to race and not to film someone but please don't tell me that what I mentioned is too difficult you would have zero problem doing any of the things I mentioned. When I said "got on top of the guy" I meant high up and looking down on him, not landing on him.
Oliver Foggin as you see on the picture, the drone carries a 2axis gimbals, thats why you see those «flat turns» :) i don't know the name of thz pilot, is it Sf pv ???

Correct me if I'm wrong but this is fake, drones don't rise and fall when going over jumps like that, they just fly in a straight line. The entire length of the video the 'drone' is at the same height (about 2 metres) relative to the ground. The perfect height for a helmet mounted gimbal, coincidence, I think not
P.S. I'm not complaining, this is a sick video, way better than anything on my channel!
You couldn't be more wrong.. The pilot is a badass, that is for certain, but this is definitely an fpv racing drone. It does have a gimbal though which is pretty unique.
This is a great video but I fly fpv racing drones and to stay that distance from the ground the entire time is nearly impossible given the speed, tight turns and the jumps!
Maybe he has a Sonar sensor under his Gimbal(so its pointing down the whole time) Betaflight and INav have support for holding altitude using sonar

Nope. Compare with any helmet cam vids. Not even close. View here is unbelievably smooth, straight ahead always, doesn't go up and down over the jumps even over obstacles like the tree stump, and has areas where it does a quick jump forward at amazing speed unlike a bike.

It's not the Dron Airdog boy! It is controlled by a pilot of racing drones I think. The technology against collisions is not so advanced at high speeds.
