This band is amazing.... Their acoustic stuff is just so emotional and easy to connect with. The lyrics are real, nothing hidden or cryptic. Just pure emotion. This is the best kind of music. I mostly listen to pop-punk (as if that exists these days) and screamo (what you guys call post-hardcore). I grew up on Drive-Thru Records (that's not a band kids....). I grew up on underground bands like Moneen and Saosin (before they got signed, obviously). I'm all about some good old fashioned head banging rock. But then I discovered The Spill Canvas and about a decade later I discovered these guys. This kind of music is the best.
I think the part that hits me the hardest but also makes the most sense is the lyrics "I learned a lesson too that I'm at my worst when I'm with you". I think looking back on a lot of my relationships when I was what, 16 and 18 that even though I loved them, it wasn't good for either of us. It's true, kids make mistakes and while I do believe you have love for that special guy or girl, it takes more than that sometimes to realize how much you're impacting one another and making it worse. Even if you want to go back, you somehow know it's better not to.

Met these dudes at the Rave in Milwaukee on the tour for there clouded’ album when they opened up for the motionless in white show.they were sorta a new name in the game at the time and they took time to really chat and see how I was doing. I bought some merch which they made sure to open themselves and sign for me, even giving me a free ep just for listening to what they had to say. It was a very memorable experience, what very humble and approachable dudes.
