I'm sure their engineering team had good reasons for not designing it this way. It will be interesting to see where they go with this tool / design in the future!
I am not a pro but love to detail cars, I had my BMW M2 on order when this came out and I was planning my new car prep and coating so I spent the bucks and bought the long neck. Wow, what an amazing little machine, I have since used it on several projects for friends with fantastic and complete results. Not cheap but great value in my opinion. Love your channel BTW.
I just purchased the long neck version I can’t wait till it comes in as I have a 1967 barracuda to work on this coming weekend and it has a lot of hard to get areas
Do I REALLY need the RUPES NANO IBRID if I already have a RUPES LHR15 MKIII + RUPES MINI? I mean...how often do you (at the shop) find yourself reaching for the RUPES NANO IBRID?
Great product, already have the long neck and I must say that every time I use it I enjoy my investment ! Easy to take out of the bag and use it for little , fast corrections, a must have imo !
Am I the only one that doesn't feel like I'm gaining enough cutting power on this thing? I've used this on a variety of jobs, and it just isn't doing any work, even when using a heavy-hitting compound.
I did when I used the blue 3mm offset. I put the 12mm red functional unit, and it rips. So does the green rotary fitting, but it can give you holograms. The 3mm offset is more geared for the sanding function.
We only have a long neck for use here at the shop. It's not necessarily because of choice, it's because that's what we first received. Either way it really wouldn't matter to us because they both work the same.
Mark Easterling my experience with the machine is that the 3mm throw is very easy to stall, even on a flat surface. A little pressure and it will stall. The 12mm throw however is a little monster and I have yet stalled it....
Hmm I was kinda cringing watching him polish that rear spoiler, imagine if he slipped off and that metal neck came into contact with the bootlid! Why dont they have rubber over the neck??
You could use that same argument for every single tool available...it comes down to skill, technique, and respecting what you're working with. Not once have we ever had such a thing happen, nor have we heard others having issues.
I bought the longneck, but I wish they had made the "neck" modular so you use the long or short with the same base machine.

ESOTERIC - Fine Auto Finishing that's the thing about engineering, there's always a way to over come obstacles with enough R&D.
FirearmTutorials .com That is most likely version 2 or 3 lol. This allows them to make money.
@@Esotericdetail the engineering team no, the marketing team, yes.

Thank you for the positive feedback, and I'm glad you're enjoying your Nano iBrid!

I've used mine on almost every vehicle I've worked on since I bought it
I've got the LHR 15 MKII. Would it better to buy the 75e mini next or the long neck ibrid?
@@MumenRider78 Get both. The mini will do things the Nano can't and vice versa.

Can you polish the headlights ?
This wouldn't be the right tool for that job. You'd want something like the Rupes LHR75, or the 75E.
What do you like best or use most? Long or short?

How do you take off the rotary attachment?
Really simple...a tool is provided with the kit to swap out the fittings.

It's on the schedule, and should be released on August 6th! Please be sure to subscribe...
Is it easy to stall out?
Only until you get used to the feel of the machine. Once you learn to keep it flat and not use too much pressure, it keeps running pretty steadily.

ESOTERIC - Fine Auto Finishing can I get a complete circuit board for the long neck model?

This thing needs a revision. Needs a stronger motor and better battery so it stalls less.
I wait when the price drop I list 300 dollars
Will never happen. Even used, these things don't lose their value.
This thing is expensive 600 just for the kit
Precision tools aren't cheap!
The head should be covered in rubber to protect bodywork. Bit of a design fault there for Rupes.
Good idea, but quite frankly, we've never had an issue...
ESOTERIC - Fine Auto Finishing 👍
I hear a lot of negative stuff on this micro polisher, who do you believe
