Great advice! Our first part of our trip is a bit of a shot gun tour around to Adelaide, where we put the brakes on and slow right down. We don’t plan to travel anymore than 300km unless it’s needed. You will love it, I did it, I’m female solo 74 young, been on the road 6 years in Motorhome ….no kids….. The travelling kids I have met on the road have all been fabulous….. Congratulations, enjoy, stay safe and Happy…..piece of advice for you all. Sort out your Roles……even for the kids…..

You can always buy another house and you might do that in a completely different town that you happen to visit during your travels! We sold our Providence house through Vanya too late 2023 to be debt free and more self sufficient in Tassie. What I found was the crime rate drastically increased in the area since we left there. Goodluck and safe travels.

We are shotgunning the first part of our trip around to Adelaide as we have few family things happening on particular dates. (Will be covering this off in a future vid) once we are done with the family stuff, We will then be really slowing the trip down and only doing short trips between camps. At this stage it will be a 12 month trip.

Wife and i are doing the same in 12 months .Bought a investment property which will be our place to live when we get back from doing the lap .Once we sell our main home in will pay out the investment home and funds to do the lap .Good luck guys

She is happy, she doesn’t have to work, but house prices go up, so when you come back you cannot buy your house back. I know I done it worst thing I ever done.
Actually Sara will be working. She has her own accounting/bookkeeping business. We are lucky she doesn’t need a fixed location. As for the house, we have some smart investments as well as other property we will be purchasing soon enough. Some people gauge their success by their wealth, I like to gauge mine by my happiness. Ron, not your place to judge people. We have had a van (2 now) in 2 years & I wish we got out there earlier to see Australia. We see our friends & family die too young, I say get out there and do it b4 it's too late. How about supporting them instead of being negative. Better if you just don't watch & let us enjoy following them. House prices aren't going anywhere in the next 2 years anyway.
