So not quite 10 years since a new dedicated Farm Sim controller but it sure feels like it! What do you currently use to play Farming Simulator and would you consider picking up these peripherals?
Now - the Hori Farming Vehicle Control System. Amazon just dropped it off on my porch today. Love it so far. So, that's almost 10 years and now there's TWO dedicated farm sim controllers.
My current setup is G29+pedals with a T16000M Joystick, tablet for Simdashboard, all mounted on a GTOmega racing sim with a bit of MonsterTech profiles that works really well.
I'm really excited, and so is everyone else based on the fact that it's sold out everywhere. I do wonder, how good the gimbal is...do x and y axes feel separate?
Thanks for the review! I was really impressed with the design of the wheel mount and I would probably have considered purchasing the farm stick. However, I was extremely disappointed in Thrustmaster for the issue with the T1600 joy stick. The Z axis failed after only 6mths of use. Doing some research I found that it is a "known" flaw that has not been corrected. I suspect the farm stick has the same parts. ...... Hope I'm wrong
I personally use 2 logitech extreme 3D pro joysticks for logging and a thrustmaster tmx pro and a logitech shifter the shifter and wheels i got for trucking but then got fs 22 so use it with that now to ill say tho after using the stuff for abit logging on fs 22 ill never go back to a controller (xbox or pc or whatever controller) i use the keyboard and mouse to walk and wheel or joysticks to drive
We got to a weird point where the hardware (joysticks, wheels,...) are getting far better than the actual software to use them with. Essentially you are buying these expensive controllers to play one or two very flawed simulators with. Hori with the Farming wheel/joystick to essentially only play FS22, Moza with their dedicated truck wheel to play ETS2 and ATS plus a few bad bus games. The hardware has never been better, more accessible. As of last year you can get into DD wheels for very cheap for instance, but most of the software is stuck at a level it was a decade ago. It's weird.
im very disappointed with thrustmasters launch of these i preordered them almost as soon as they were available and they still havent shipped them and they have them listed as currently out of stock
Although I admit I scrubbed through the video, thanks for posting nonetheless. I am quite interested in the stick, however I'm concerned about being able to comfortably access all of the controls on the head of stick. I have little T-rex hands, and I can't imagine I'll be able to control the hat joystick without lifting my hand off of the rest. I noticed that when you accessed it, your hand was up off of the rest. What are your thoughts on this and has that been an issue for you? Now I think I could tolerate not being able to use the hat joystick, yet I know it will become tiresome. Also, I'm not confident I would be able to bend my thumb under enough to accurately, and comfortably for that matter, access the six buttons at the base of the head. I actually use HOTAS to play MMOGs whereas I'm constantly panning the camera as well as the other buttons. I'm just not sure the constant need to move my hand, assuming this is a fact, will not end up being prohibitive in terms fatigue. Can you give me an idea of the ergonomics in practice? Thanks
I feel like the mount makes it less realistic, work on a farm myself and only place the steering wheel is at that angel is a combine or a teleloader, tractors have the wheel more like a car but hey it up to you but its nothing for me
working boots works fine for running.. but its so much better with runnning shoes!! and no, you absolutly do not have to be rich to own this joystick🤦♂️ it just makes the game so much more enjoyable👍
Rich? More like go mow a few lawns and you got this.. but if you're waiting for your mom to buy it for the heck of it, then I guess you need to be rich. Lol.

Perfect timing. I was considering a joystick to make crane/logging operations much easier
You can buy a flight stick for alot cheaper and its the same thing
My current setup is G29+pedals with a T16000M Joystick, tablet for Simdashboard, all mounted on a GTOmega racing sim with a bit of MonsterTech profiles that works really well.
I wonder if you can assemble the mount "upside down" to get around the height problem.

I've been using the G920 steering wheel + Logitech flight stick on FS22 since the game came out.
What flight stick whats it called
Would it work to have 2 farmsticks and more or less be able to identify them and program them differently to run like an excavator

The working/drive mode doesn't switch ALL buttons, just the few orange ones.

What’s that screen in front of the wheel
can the base plate the wheel is mounted to fold down completely flat? I'd like to have a setup where I can both race and play farm sim
Good Evening
Pls answer!! Where is the joystick mount from? Where can i buy it??
also trying to find this out
82 Studio's x-2 dump truk and tipper can hold the new crops
Do you think the farm stick would work for flight sims?

Oh man, I need to get a gaming PC, they get all the cool stuff
Im curious if the logitech g920 would fit in it
Daggerwin said really good about these so I want to know what you think
Damn, I just bought 2 hotas. I may return them and snag these.
I like see steering wheel
im very disappointed with thrustmasters launch of these i preordered them almost as soon as they were available and they still havent shipped them and they have them listed as currently out of stock

If I could buy the stick by it self it would be interesting but you can’t buy the joystick by it self my g29 works fine
Ya u can
it is going to take this guy 10 years just to open the boxes
All I’ve done is bought a joystick re mapped the buttons and used my existing steering wheel
I feel like the mount makes it less realistic, work on a farm myself and only place the steering wheel is at that angel is a combine or a teleloader, tractors have the wheel more like a car but hey it up to you but its nothing for me
"read through the instructions" .... yeah as if YOU know how to read! hahahaha!!!
Sucks theyre all sold out 😭😭
Unless you are rich or you are Farm sim youtuber. This is not worth the money.Mouse and keyboard work just fine.
A g29 works as well Amazon has it on sale right now great wheel
working boots works fine for running.. but its so much better with runnning shoes!! and no, you absolutly do not have to be rich to own this joystick🤦♂️ it just makes the game so much more enjoyable👍
$200 for 2, dont need to be rich whatsoever.
Your definition and my definition of rich are not the same.
Rich? More like go mow a few lawns and you got this.. but if you're waiting for your mom to buy it for the heck of it, then I guess you need to be rich. Lol.
I dont know how it works or everything, but m'y gosh this IS ugly, looks like a GameCube thing
