This is a very in-depth interview that Deng Lun conducted right before the movie premiered in China in December. He shared the reason why it took him so long to decide to take on a role in a movie. What he thinks of the role Boya and he played his opposite Qingming in the sequel. A long and very insightful interview, highly recommend to watch if you want to know more about this talent young actor.

I watched Yin-Yang movie for six rounds already. And yes I also felt that Boya has pure heart and express his feeling very genuinely and honestly. Though his thought of people surrounding him has been grown, his pure heart has never changed. Boya is a kind of person I want to be friend with.

I watched "Yin Yang Master - Dream Of Eternity" and I loved it. The film has amazing special effects and visuals.
The performance of Deng Lun and Mark Chao was excellent, magnificent, as well as that of the other actors who were part of this show that makes us want to see him several times.
Deng Lun is not only a handsome man, but also a great actor.
I recommend everyone to see the movie.

I really like all the actors there (Deng Lun's Boya (arrogant cute Boya), the way QingMing holds the fan, Wang Duo's double characters, epic music soundtrack, the magic concept and effect. And, ohh the costumes...!! All are very thoughtful and detail, except Boya's half-naked ragged skirt.. I think the ragged costume could be more convincing to support the transformation (maybe the ragged cut was too evenly ripped..?)
🤞I hope I have the opportunity to watch the sequel, too...🤞
If not for Netflix not many of DL fans (outside his native country )would be able to enjoy this movie.
I just done watch his movie . I think he has done a great job. I mean his face expression n how he brings the character as Boya as someone that who act rashly and then along the way turn into someone who is willing to sacrifice himself to save humanity.. Well, job well done then deng lun. I hope Boya character can stay like that in the next sequel to give us more mystery n retain Boya charming n sharp look. Its ok not to have too much line, expression n the work of art (the fighting scene) has already win your fan's heart. The CGI is totally awesome n Mark's character has also help Boya to shine.
