The first land I cleared by myself was a 2.5 acre parcel with a chainsaw, a used Massey Ferguson 135 farm tractor, and a borrowed Bobcat 742 skid steer loader with tooth bucket that had seen its better days You're doing good, it's just that the learning curve is very gradual for clearing that type of land cover. Out of curiosity, what type of disk are you planning to use to break that ground?
Love the the addition of the excavator! How has your JCB 270 been for you. I really like the side access cab door. Have you had any problems with it, are you happy with the power for mulching. Did you get through Company Wrench dealership.
I am a old viewer and it's just painfully slow to watch someone learn how to operate new machines . Don't get me wrong you're doing it much better than I could , but it's just slow and again I would do much worse .
It would nice in the beginning if you could say what State you working in and little about the job and reason for the clearing.
I prefer an excavator rake with a thumb for jobs like that. It pulls less dirt and shakes it out better for burning, they also work for stumps.
