Hey folks, hope you're having a great week so far. This video is the first part on validation, and is slightly more theoretical. In the next one, we'll get into the practical side of things, and integrate joi into our user resolvers to make them resilient and secure. See you then
Sounds interesting, though it's my first time hearing about it. Might be worth a try. Though for me personally, I'd be curious to try out a more Rails-like framework, such as Sails. It has very much to offer out of the box. Opinionated, but convenient.
The best ever learning experience and value I ever got watching tutorials. You have an amazing and unique style that respect viewers time, your video doesn’t just accomplish a single task like other tutorials&youtubers e.g. “getting something work”. No, you actually accomplish many things, debates, exploration, tread-off and what I mostly appreciate, doing something wrong/in-efficient, then explaining why and finally presenting a solution. Thank You Very much for you hard work and the value you offer through you’re amazing channel
Excellent review of different strategies for validation in node. This kind of 'search and choose a solution' reasoning is a constant in any kind of project and i often think that it is always overlooked in tutorials.
We'll use MongoDB extensively throughout the series, for sure. But GraphQL isn't opinionated about any particular DB engine. I feel that you're rather asking for a dedicated video on MongoDB? I could do that after the series.
@@CodeRealm I have some issues regarding mongo while implementing my grapqhql...could you connect to me on any platform...just 15 minutes will be helpful to me

looking forward for the next video, thanks!
Can you make a separate video on using mongodb in graphql?
