My parents had a cute house on a gorgeous property. My dad was a witness. I wanted him to put a couple spotlights, shining on several trees to highlight them, would have looked gorgeous in the winter snow. He told me it would be interpreted as us celebrating Christmas, so couldn't do that either, although not Christmas lights. I have as many lights now, different ones year round, some in winter, different ones on my patio during spring, summer and fall. Don't care,I do what I wish.

Birthdays, Thanksgiving, Mother's Day, Christmas, etc...
What do all these days have in common?
Those are the days when we get together with family and friends...and talk.
The Watchtower knows that current members would end up in the same place as past members (siblings, cousins, etc) and inevitably the conversation would turn to the teachings put forth by the society.
They can't allow that. They can't allow their current members to be influenced by past members, because they (current members) would then be exposed to the real truth rather than the controlled message put forth from the leadership.
It's all about control of information. It's for this reason why they have the following...
    - They provided a customized version of God's Word
    - They won't allow members to go to college
    - No research of their (the society's) own history is allowed
    - "Apostate" websites (those that are critical of the WT) are forbidden
    - A busy indoctrination schedule is required (studying, meetings, fieldwork, etc.)
    - Communication with past members is forbidden
    - Special days (holidays, etc.) are forbidden
Each of these have only one affect...to control the information that enters the eyes, ears and mind of the current member.

This one JW woman sickens me with her comments about me eating turkey on Thanksgiving Day. Yet, she accepted a Thanksgiving basket even though she didn't cook it on that day. I told her that I will eat whatever I want. I know for a fact that if some of the JWs go out in field service on Thanksgiving Day and they are offered food, they accept it! And yes, my son and I celebrated my 60th birthday this year with a nice cake. I don't let folks run my life and tell me what to eat, where to go and where not to go.

Interesting topic. Back in the 1920s when Rutherford was doing a spring clean of pagan teachings still taught by the organization, he did consider using substitute names for days of the week and months of the year. He even had a sample calendar drawn up - but he eventually concluded it was a step too far.
You make many excellent points - thank you for putting this together.

I heard a preacher use this argument. It was illogical when he said it, and it is just as illogical when you say it.
I have control over what holidays I keep and don't keep. I have no control over the names of the days or months. It would be the epitome of foolishness to rename the days of the week and the months or use the old Hebrew names...who would understand me if I did?
I'm not a JW, but I too disregard Christmas and Easter, for they are Catholic holidays, born of a pagan religion disguised in the robes of Christianity. Over this, I have full control. I have no control over what the world calls Sunday.
Yours is truly the most perverted logic imaginable.

    • @RTreturns

In the book of Genesis we find whoever named something had dominion over that which was named. God named something. Adam named the animals. Jehovah's Witnesses do not and I repeat do not go around and say that the days of the week and of the month are pagan. That they can control and you might want to rethink ye of little thought.

The problem with the quotienting of scriptures to a Jehovah Witness, is that they have been taught that, that particular scripture means a certain thing, or one way, from the society. And, because the society said it that's what it is in their mind and heart, and they're going to dig their heels in to it!
    However; some will listen.

Amazing video. That’s the main argument that I would hear from Jehovah Witnesses on why they don't celebrate holidays is because they have pagan origins. Jehovah Witnesses don't even know what pagan even means. Almost everything has pagan origins including marriage, weddings, wedding rings, monogamy, art, music and so on. I would love to share this to my mother who is also a Jehovah witness and I pray to God that this will enlighten her. Thank you for this video.

Thank you so much for your comment. It means a lot to me. This morning as I was thinking of a reply something came to mind. In Jesus day the religious leaders of his day asked him if it was lawful to pay taxes to Caesar. Not only did the religious leaders hate Rome but they considered giving to Caesar as breaking the second Commandment. For the coin that was common use in those days was an image of Caesar who on the coin itself claim that he was a god. That would mean that to use that coin then one would "do as the pagans did" and break the commandment of God. Yet when Jesus asked for a coin they had no problem giving one to them. Jehovah's Witnesses are quick to point the finger but are blind to their double standard. So those in Jesus day tried to trick Jesus and failed and so it is today.

No. I have used this on them before and it doesn’t work. Holiday celebrations and birthdays are completely voluntary. No one can help it if a society in general has named the days or months after pagan gods. Even Jews and Muslims have to use them because it is compulsory. No one requires any one to go purchase a gift and wrap it and stick it under a decorated tree do they.Just giving you a heads up that this argument was not successful before. TIME STREAM - At this point, shouldn't JW be known worldwide? They make the point that the work must be accomplished globally, at which point "the end will come." Well, surprise. They aren't even halfway close.
That's probably why they have stopped the Yearbook. Think about this, Japan alone boasts more than 200 islands - some of which are populated, others not. Now get this, there are thousands of archipelagos (island chains) throughout the Pacific, again, some of which are inhabited some not.
Therefore to boast that they have preached and written publications for over 200 lands and islands of the sea is as praiseworthy as dipping your big toe in a pool, rather than jumping in full Monty. Practically, that means mankind is nowhere near "the biblical end" and that Armageddon is not around the corner.

Most of everything you do, a pagan does. You could not live on earth without doing something pagan. Do you like weddings with the rings and flowers and all? PAGAN. Pagans live in man made homes. Do you? If so, it doesn't make you pagan. "Where your heart is there too will be your treasures." Where's your heart? Noah lived in a very pagan world but was saved. "That would be a pain to enact, What are JWs gonna do make up their own days of the week? How would they function? You can't control what society calls the days of the week, but you can control celebrating holidays. You see?" The Jews went by the the numbers except the Sabbath. In fact many times they would say the 10 day of the month of Nissan. As far as today A JW could say " How about we have a bible study on the 3rd day of the week or Tuesday" in order to spark a question as to why they would say that. Remember they use Jehovah even though most just say Lord. My point is a JW is not even aware of the pagan aspects of the days of the week or months but then crys foul on the holidays.

Easter is Christian, The pagan Oestra is celebrated on 21st - 22nd March our Spring Equinox. Easter moves around different dates in March and April . So if you are going to talk about true Paganism , it is not the opposite of Christianity. It is a religion covering all spectrums of pagan practice, goddess worship, Druidism etc...

The JWs are just another man-made religion. In the past, God always was the active player. He called prophets and apostles and gave them his word and even commanded Solomon to build a temple. The JW's GOD is a passive player. He waited until the early 1900s and chose the JWs. How did the JWs know? They probably said, "Jehovah-God, if we're not your religion, make it thunder! Oh wow, you can't argue with that! It was the greatest spiritual experience we've ever had!"

What biblical scriptures says that we can celebrate pagan holidays?

    • @RTreturns
      @RTreturns  7 лет назад +2

What the bible does talk about is as long as we are doing it unto him then we decide what to celebrate. I know the days of the week are pagan but I don't celebrate that but the Lord. Same with holidays Romans 14:5-6 (NLT)
5 In the same way, some think one day is more holy than another day, while others think every day is alike. You should each be fully convinced that whichever day you choose is acceptable.
6 Those who worship the Lord on a special day do it to honor him. Those who eat any kind of food do so to honor the Lord, since they give thanks to God before eating. And those who refuse to eat certain foods also want to please the Lord and give thanks to God.

There are no instructions in the bible that tells us how to keep Christmas, Easter and other holidays but there is instructions on how to keep the Passover, first fruits, unleavened bread, Pentecost and other feast days. The only two Birthday celebrations mentioned in the Bible
are found at Genesis 40:20 and Mt. 14:6. And both resulted
in deaths. No where else is cited as anyone observing their
birthday, Jesus never did nor did any first century Christian.
But non Christians did. Why was that? Because it is not a
Biblical practice for Christians. It was considered idolatrous
worship of the person. It involves magic and religion. For
more information see: The Imperial Bible- Dictionary (London,
    1874), edited by Patrick Fairbairn,Vol.1,p.225.
CHRISTMAS is not a Christian practice either. For one thing the
magi (the so-called 3 kings), did not arrive at the time of the
birth of Jesus, but two years later. The star was God's adversary
Satan the devil. The date of Jesus birth is wrong. Shepherds would
not be tending sheep in the dead of winter. Besides, God gave no
instructions to have his son worshiped at his birth. And Jesus did
not command that his birth be observed by anyone. Certainly not
by his Christian followers. That would have been idolatry. Again,
celebrating a birthday, which was forbidden by the law of God.
The world does, because it is filled with idols and worshipers of
people. Genuine Christians however shun any kind of false gods.
    Encyclopedia Americana- (1977), Vol.6, p. 666.
EASTER also a pagan holiday : Has to do with the " Queen of the
heavens"- Jeremiah 7:18. Eggs a sign of fertility, sex. The rabbit,
a symbol of reproduction. Non Christian practice. An abomination.
    Catholic Encylop. - (1913), Vol. V, p. 227. That's why Jehovah's
witnesses don't observe these or any other detestable pagan holiday.
All those that worship idols whether objects or people, will be preserved
for the day of judgment as to their conduct before the living God
    the JEALOUS God, JEHOVAH!!! - (Ex. 34:14; 2 Cor. 11:2; Deut. 32:16;
    Ps. 78:58; 1 Cor.10:22) Be yea warned. - Amen
Only the annul celebration of Christ's sacrifice of the bread and wine.
And only then with the anointed ones of the 144,000 chosen who will
rule with him in the heavens, do we observe, because he commanded
it, with his fathers blessing. Observance is Friday 19th at sundown at
your local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's witnesses. May you be moved
by his undeserved kindness and be drawn to him by his mercy and
    love for you. - Amen

I am not a jw, but I know that what is practiced today as far as chritmas and easter are pagan and have pagan roots, there are plenty of videos about this on youtube.
first of all we were not given Jesus birthday, we have been given exact times for certain events but not Jesus birthday, at best He was born in early fall while the shepherds were still out in the fields, they bring their flocks into the cities about the second week of October due to the harsh winters they have, so the Jesus could not have been born on Dec 25 that is a catholic tradition our forefathers brought with them when they left the rcc, to bad they did not leave that tradition behind as they left so much of that system behind.
to celebrate Jesus birthday on Dec 25th is a LIE, why do people kiss under the mistletoe? why do we get the gifts instead of Jesus whose birthday we are supposed to be celebrating? would you want everyone but you to get the gifts on your birthday? why do people burn a yule log which in pagan tradition is a phallic symbol?
why do you bring a tree into your home and decorate it with gold and silver?
most people do not know why they do these things they just do them because it is the tradition to do them
Jer 10:1 Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
Jer 10:2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
Jer 10:3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
Jer 10:4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
Jer 10:5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. .
why do you learn the way of the heathen when God's Word says that it is the way of the heathen?
and some preacher will start spouting off about this color means that and that color means this, so what! you are gonna hunt and peck through God's Word to find stuff you think will excuse what you are doing?
christmas is nothing more than an excuse to run out and but all kinds of material goods giving and getting material things, maxing out credit cards and taking most of the next year to pay them down enough to do it all over again the next christmas.
easter has nothing to do with the easter bunny and decorating eggs and giving out candy! True Easter is about The Resurrection of our Lord and Saviour, not some bunny.
the rabbit and eggs being tied back to fertility cults as far back as the tower of babble.
but it is all just a matter of tradition and people do love their traditions! and anyone who does not love christmas is a Scrooge or a Grinch!
Pro 6:16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
Pro 6:17 A proud look, *a lying tongue,* and hands that shed innocent blood,
Pro 6:18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
Pro 6:19 *A false witness that speaketh lies,* and he that soweth discord among brethren.
Notice on this very short list of 7 Abominations that lying makes the list twice.
Here we have the father of lies.
Joh 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
ALL means ALL Shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:
Teaching False doctrine is teaching lies, hence the prefix "false"
lying is lying it does not matter how innocent the person seems, this is why there are these verses.
God's Word says it and that settles it.
God's Word says what it means and means what it says.
both christmas and easter are false doctrines and those that hold and practice them are holding and practicing lies.
you better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout I'm telling you why santa (satan) clause is coming to town, HE SEES YOU WHEN YOUR SLEEPING HE KNOWS WHEN YOUR AWAKE HE KNOWS IF YOUVE BEEN BAD OR GOOD so be good for goodness sake.

Dennis Hagans TLDR. Do you think it is wrong to repurpose a day as sinister as Christmas, to give honor to the Son of the living God? I rejoice in the amount of people who are exposed to the gospel during the time when they are most receptive to it. The amount of people who needed a savior and found him through the commeration of the Son during Christmas time is amazing to me. At the end of the day, I think that’s the most important thing.
Yes, I agree that Christmas has these pagan appendages but if Christians can remove said appendages and realize the opportunity that is presented, then we wouldn’t have this issue. But it’s a conscience thing.

The GB is wrong. Good, Godly birth celebrations are in the Bible. The Three Wise men gave presents to Jesus who was probably about one year old at the time based on when a "big star" would have appeared in astronomical history. Regardless of whether it was an actual "birthday" it was a birth celebration after the fact. Those gifts, at least the gold part, allowed financially poor Mary and Joseph to take Jesus to Egypt or elsewhere to survive Herod's purge of young boys. Saving the King of Kings and Lord of Lords from certain death - that would make birthday presents useful and honoring God at least once in Biblical history. Sounds like those presents were answers to prayer on the part of very poor, believing parents!
Birthdays are not pagan though the case for Easter and Christmas are strong. There is some archeological evidence a giant Easter Bunny helped Mary Magdelene roll away the rock from Jesus tomb (just kidding).
By the way, when was the last time a Witness refused to say Monday, Sunday, or Friday, all of which are pagan names??? Kinda figure they have those words on their phones, calendars at home, in their Kingdom Halls, etc. "Okay, Elders lets do some field service starting at 3pm on the pagan day of....".

Agree good points. Celebration of birthdays is acknowledging and thanking God for the gift of life. And the other celebrations are appreciating what God has given and done in our lives. God wants us to enjoy life as we focus on Him.they should open their minds and see not only what is told to them. They think they are more spiritual obeying all the rules. And they are missing the true meaning and purpose of their lives. They need our prayers.

My parents haven't become JW only me. I was still in elementary school when we stopped celebrating all holidays because my non-Witness parents realized it was bull and just a way for greedy merchants to exploit people for profit. When we stopped I was about 9 or 10 years old but my siblings and I adjusted quickly. We didn't feel left out because we still got toys and had fun activities throughout the year without celebrating holidays. I got baptized when I was about 20 years old so I stopped celebrating holidays some 11 or 10 years before becoming a Jehovah's Witness. Becoming a JW was the best thing to happen to me.

    R JESUS CHRIST IS A JEHOVAH'S WITNESS
Even a Christian cannot brush aside the worship of Jehovah as God. In Revelation 1:5 the Son of God called himself "'Jesus Christ, 'The Faithful Witness.'" W hen on earth as a man he was a Jew, an Israelite, to whose nation the words of Isaiah 43:10 written: "'You are my witnesses,' is the utterance of Jehovah, 'even my servant whom I have chosen,." Ok, you are stretching the truth and narrows the lies, that if WT is separate the world, that they should separate from the date that we uses, but use from Jehovah. And for bible, for birthday to represent good day and thanksgiving. You say last use the bible and not the WT, like you say they are not compatible, yes they are because in the bible it says separate from the world. You are defining what is separate and what is not. So, you are increasing the separate the world, that Jehovah is over sensitive or under sensitive or both. The point is about activity, not word itself. And one kind, but not repeat kind, for example it is wrong to separate Jesus's day no it is not because it is not repeat. So, u assume it is repeat or assume that we are against birthday, even the first birth day that is the moment when you are born. That is stretching or/and narrow. The point it is about balance and that balance is depend on that action, and activity of a person. When Jesus is born, it is wrong to separate that? No, because the action is Jesus is being born so you separate, but repeat action of Jesus that is already alive every year, is wrong and that is focus on yourself. But for Jesus's death for every year is not wrong because it is a remainder what Jesus did, not separate that he is alive, but what he did to his death. In the bible say, a name is better than born, well, not sure of the scripture. So, they do follow the bible, and you do not follow the bible, by stretching and narrow, you remove part of bible that you shouldn't which in Rev, you remove, then your life will be remove or you add, then you will be add as a curse on you.
For Holiday, every year, so it is important to be thanksgiving and other stuff, that is good, but that is government, not Religion. So, it is government and religions mix it, so to separate from world, you shouldn't be involve in politician, only Jehovah can be a politician, not government. So, typing of ever year, that need reminder, well, that is important, but that activity shouldn't be tradition or habit, well, habit is important, but not to stretch the habit that it becomes a word that needs repeat, not deed of habit. So, birthday is the habit, right but will you forget the date you are born, perhaps. So, those good holiday like mother's day, father's day, birthday, and other, that show good to people is important but not to a stretching that it becomes a word, a habit, with no action. Sure there is action of birthday, mother's day, etc, but the action will be higher on the person's birthday, on the person that is a mother and father, why because they will receive a gift that they except, so the key word is except, so does it matches love?? No, they want because they want, so that is unexcept, not except. So, it becomes a require, to satisity the person or the person will be angry. So, it is not true love, but love of gift, not love of person. After all, are you depression everyday until on that day, you are thriving, excepting gift? I doubt it, because you don't get gift everyday that you secret hate the person, or anyone that doesn't gift you or resent that person until that day the hate change to love and the resent change to let go. I doubt it, that would be selfish to except the except, not except the unexcept, that what tradition shows it is a selfish holiday that cause people to except, not unexcept, afterall, you don't except anything everyday but you still love and bond to the person you are with everyday, right. The holiday is brainwashing your mind so it changes your feeling that you must do or cause problem, well, if you don't give the gift, then it is not your fault because you don't want like you don't want every day to give the gift everyday, right, the price will be high. That is other problem is price. That what bible teach, true love. Not except love, which it is the part of it, but bigger part is unexcept toward another person, that it is person's action that show love, not what other person's desire to receive so you give that person. That is focus on other, which it is love, yes, but that love become a chore, not a wanna desire because it is focus on another person, which another person hasn't ask, which it is love, but also did except without asking, so unwritten, unspoken ask, which it is not love, so combine of it, become a chorce love which potentially reduce love between two people because of the except, not unexcept. So, no surprise. You think a person will know there is no surprise on birthday, I doubt it because it is logically process to except to surprise the person, so it is not really a surprise. Not true surprise, maybe half a surprise on unexcept location or whatever, or maybe full suprise on different date. The point surprise is better than no surprise (fully one that is) because it is on another person's action that cause the unecept.
What is the reason you are against JW? Because of not celebrate holiday and others? Or there is more to it. Are you in religion? Then what is true religion should be? What matter is the person that is willing to do it base what the person want to help another person. Not a repeat, a chore unless the person want it.

For the date to use, it is ok to use Jehovah's date that is in bible, or other date? It doesn't matter, it is same as another language to speak that another person do speak, which it would be wrong to use that language, except Jehovah's language, only. Well, except Jehovah confuse all the language, so human do add language, so the point is about not word itself, but action. So, the date and language is word itself that you must use exactly word to satisfy Jehovah. He is not over sensitive. So, if most popular and most wrong, but the word that is positive can be use then use it, like the date. But word that is negative that is curse word, shouldn't be use, so it is about good and bad that affect people feeling of a whole. So, you mention follow the bible, not JW, so you assume WT and bible is separate? I am sure you are not against Jehovah, but against JW teaching? If you are against JW teaching, then you are against Jehovah because Jehovah approves them. Sure no one is perfect, as long as the basic is right, which it is willing to do good and prevent the bad. So, separate from world, that is bad, to Jehovah's World which is eventually paradise, that is good.

    • @Mellow0303
      @Mellow0303 6 лет назад +1

Ok, you are not sure what I am typing? It is clear or not? Well, ok, so it is about the point or not, so the point of your video is JW use the date and not celebrate holidays, so the point is love and activity of a person, as long as the activity is not a repeat base on date or anything, but a surprise to another person, just because is the reason of action. For the date, it has no base on anything except the date, which you are saying it is pagan, but that date is not an activity that will affect that person base on that date. So, for example, want to make a baby, so the activity of making baby is sex or combine male and female's essence to make it, the point is activity that is good, but that good doesn't not need to be repeat, like mother's day, father's day, well, it is good for reminding, but you don't need a date for reminding, you have yourself to remind it then act according, so it is your responsibility, not the date's responsibility, that is the point, the point of word itself to respond in certain way like the date or so, but it is the deed that you decide and react as a response.
You are smart then surely you can see that JW is not smart that they are so sensitive to the date that they shouldn't use because it is pagan, and they are not aware, I am sure they are aware but can see the different between word and deed. So, smart is relative, so it is about you have good thinking ability or not. So, you are making it that they are not aware and they should be aware and change the date. So, best not to assume JW are bond to word itself that is wrong, or repeat, but it is about deed of a person, not word itself. Sure, some repeat is okey, like married annisavry and memorial because for repeat gift every year you are married is base on married person's decision, and memorial is in the bible. Best to ask JW why they don't celebrate birthday, etc.
What you have that is against to JW teaching?

Sir the Sabbath was a covenant between the Jews and Jehovah. The mosiac law was abolished Collossions 2 v 15.Why would there be a need to live by the Jewish names of days? Some how your points seem to be as sharp as a wet noodle.Have you ever read Galations 4 v8 to 11?Also Luke 4 v7&8.I know you guys are embarrassed to ask JEHOVAH's witnesses for a Bible study so say these things that you could be enlightened technically.

So Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are all based on pagan gods so what should they be called? What do you call them without being pagan? The point that I have made is simple. Jehovah Witnesses are quick to tell Christians that they abstain from the world and don't celebrate anything pagan and yet use the days of the week and the months that are pagan without even thinking about it. If the Watchtower is the sole channel of truth to mankind why hasn't Jehovah revealed to them that the days of the week and months of the year are pagan. Why do Jehovah Witnesses used both? Finally why would I be embarrassed for a bible study when I know that the things I bring up would probable be a deer in the headlight stare from many.

      Archie Liburd,
Sir, the Sabbath is the 4th commandment. Where does it say that we don't need to obey?

      Heb 4:
Do Not Harden Your Hearts-- Keep the Sabbath of Yahweh!
8 Now Yahshua caused them to rest in obedience to the Law, spoken of by Yahweh in a day previously. 9 Therefore, there remains the keeping of the Sabbath to the people of Yahweh, 10 For he who has entered into His rest has also ceased from his own works, as Yahweh did from His. 11 Therefore, let us be zealous to enter into that rest, so that no one may fall after the same example of unbelief.

The celebration of ones birth is the holiest day in the Satanic bible. You cannot deny that!!! Look it up!! And why is it?? Because 1John 5:19 "we know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one"

You need to get some rest, you will still be saying this as the great tribulation is fast approaching. And no one ever said you have to listen or read anything from JW's at all. You can go any way you wish. Good day.

In Jeremiah 10 we are told to have nothing to do with the way of the pagans Because I am a spirit filled disciple of Jesus I aim not to participate in the pagan feasts... The lord has given us 7 Feasts of the Lord mentioned in Leviticus 23 .At the Passover Lords Supper all these feasts are incorporated or the breaking of bread daily from house to house mentioned in Act 2:41-46.Easter is no doubt a vile pagan feast and not found in the word of god.But 1 Kings 18:19we see Elijah getting rid of all pagan poles of Easter and Baal. I participate in Passover rather than the pagan feast of Easter. The word became flesh and He tabernacled among us. Jesus was born on the Feast of Tabernacles and you won’t find Christmas in your bible..Birthdays are not mentioned in god’s word other than Herods great birthday party where he presented Johns head on a platter.Stick with god’s word and repent, and don’t add anything to god’s word.It is by grace that we have been saved through faith (believing) and this not of ourselves but a gift of god. Obedience is key and my sheep hear my voice. Listen to the voice of Jesus always forget the traditions of man

Are you married? Do you wear a wedding band? Those have pagan origins. Do you go to a kingdom hall? Having a building for meetings is pagan in origin as well. The earliest Christians sometimes met in converted pagan temples. Do you consider Jews as pagans? The automobile was invented by a Jew and not a JW. Of course you are not living in an Amish Paradise, so you do drive a vehicle. Do you keep time with a watch or clock? Time is pagan as well.
So practice what you preach and get rid of all your things that have pagan origins.

@@Episcopalianacolyte All that matters is that you have your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ: the Son of the living God who is God manifest in the flesh. Are you a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ while making other disciples on your journey with the Lord Jesus Christ. Are a living stone of the spiritual temple? Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved Acts 16:31. Baptism always followed immediately after believing and then being filled with the Holy Spirit. A Spirit filled believer becomes a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ by renewing our minds daily by God’s word ( starting in John 14 onwards) The early believers devoted themselves to the apostles doctrines ( healing the sick and preaching the gospel of of the Lord Jesus Christ) , breaking bread daily from house to house, prayer and fellowship. ruclips.net/video/vN9GR6xRw24/видео.html
