Can you guys start putting timestamps in your videos please? I’d use you as a resource, but I really don’t have time to scroll through over two hours to find out where something was that I would use. Sure you have enough staff that can help you do this.

Speaking of a pump, that’s why I do primarily single arm dumbbell rows over a barbell row. For whatever reason, when I do barbell row I get a forearm pump with my legs shaking. The single arm dumbbell row really light up my back

Abductor machine gets a bad rep but the glute girls arent stupid…. There is a reason y we do it. I have been working out with strictly weights. I do hip thrusts, barbell squats, weighted Bulgarian split squats and rds. But my upper glutes have since stopped popping. Ive tried sooooo much variations but it just isnt doing what it was and the only thing missing in my routine is that. Soooooo…..i beg to differ.

Agree. Hip thrusts are great for newbies who want to do deadlifts. They will train to connect with the glutes and this will make it more likely they wont half-ass the upper part of the deadlift

Granted there are very few people but I've still yet to see it. And, I'd also love to see you guys do a show with Dr Mike. Please however, tell him to keep it clean.

All exercises are potentially corrective if it’s bringing more balance to your structure! And obviously vice versa is true if you’re ending your sets with horrible posture, your body remembers that the most! And pertaining to the triceps with a supinated grip, that is neutral anatomical position, & it is always an ideal position! If you’re doing traditional triceps with pronation, you’re probably creating internal rotation at the wrist, elbows and shoulders!

I have a question : I want to work out 4 times a week but only do strength training twice or 3 times a week. Can I do pilates in between? I feel better if I break up my stngth training with pilates...I don't enjoy cardio but I do walk as much as I can when possible during the day...am i on the right track?

The thigh master was popular because you could do it sitting down. When it hit the market ladies exercise were only aerobics and cardio which many women find challenging. 90% of women at that time wanted a smaller waistline and thinner thighs only. We were taught to slim waist line by skipping meals and it was believed the thigh master would tone the thighs in 10 minutes a day while sitting on the couch. Lol. People love any kind of exercise that can be down sitting down. The stationary bike was also selling like hot cakes at the time. I’m not talking peloton here … these bikes all had magazine racks so you could read while peddling away with zero effort. Don’t get me started on the recumbent bike 😂

"Smaller waistline and thinner thighs only..."
That's spot reduction, like Sal said.
But I'm sure part of it WAS because it could be done while sitting, like you said. I remember those days lol. Every woman in my family had one.

For instance Mp is always talking about how muscle speeds up the metabolism but recently saw Doctor Mike saying it's not a very big difference. So I'm officially confused by that.

Why is a dumbbell row better than a single arm cable row? Zero explanation zero science behind that. You can get a better stretch with the cable row, arguably a better weight force curve as well. Also, doing single doubles and triples of anything is gonna build strength and very little hypertrophy if any at all. Ask Dr. Mike he’ll tell you. lol
