I LOVE your diverse library 💖💖💖 Also, thank you. As a Hmong-American, I feel heard and seen to know you have a book about the Hmong culture in your classroom for students to read. I remember growing up, I loved reading but there was never a book about my people, about a Hmong girl like me, about who I was and why I felt different. I denied my cultural identity growing up because no one wanted to understand the difference between being Hmong and being a different Asian (Chinese, Japanese, etc.) so I appreciate you for being an advocate for your students and the children of the world. 🙏☺️
I love all of the resources that you shared in this video! I am an elementary English as a New Language (ENL) teacher. (In other states the program is called English as a Second Language or ESL) I totally agree with you about the clear containers from Dollar Tree. I picked up quite a few when they sold them a few summers ago and was hopeful that they would sell them again this year for the back to school season. Thanks for sharing this great haul!

That's a nice book haul. We Are Water Protectors in one of my favorites. It sends an important message and has beautiful illustrations.
I’ve read we are water protectors with my 2/3rd grade summer school. It is a great book!
