@@juanwoodruff6202 Yeah. I remember when being a high school player was a risky pick. Kobe fell to 13 because of it. Now we have guys like James Wisemen getting drafted playing 12 games in college and he went number 2 in the draft. I have no idea why a guy with 4 years of proof of their skill is a bad thing, but some young guy with no developed skill at all is what causes GM's to get excited about.

Lmao, people are really against getting Andre Drummond for a VET MIN? We don't need an all-star/starting level big. Wood and AD, and either Drummond/Edey/Val would be good enough. Just need bigs who can take a load off for AD when he's out. That was a big hole for us all season.

I don’t think Lakers retaining Drum for a Vet Min is the issue. I think the hype around this news will net Drum a contract above the Vet Min and Lakers may not be in the financial position to give him more than the Vet Min. If he comes to LA it’s because he wants to be here.

The skepticism on big men today is unreal. If Tim Duncan or Patrick Ewing were 22 coming out of college today they might be second rounders and only told to come off of the bench and shoot put backs from rebounds. If you are pulling down 12 rebs a game and unstoppable in the post it won't matter if you can shoot 3's or if you give up a few three's that might not even go in the basket. People act like 3's are layups, they're not. You still have to make them and you are still shooting below 50 percent if you are Steph Curry 2.0 Give me 80 percent plus layups all day long.

    Proposed Trade:
Lakers 17th Pick + Reaves + Reddish (which I’m sure he will opt-in) and a future 2nd for Caruso + Torrey Craig + their 11th pick.
Lakers get their guard that can create and defend really well in Devin Carter who they appear to really like. Opens up the door to use JHS in a trade. They save money on the trade overall, plus not having to resign Prince since they will now have a backup 3/D in Craig on a much better contract. Lakers will have more money to resign Christie. If DLo stays, it helps to cover his defensive flaws in the meantime. If DLo walks. Lakers still have enough assets IMO to go trade for Murray which I think they should do even if DLo stays, and use DLo in a trade.

You're still so obsessed with a big shooting thr three.
Well the most important thing a big can bring to this team is rebounding
Go look at every Lakers loss for the last two seasons and you will find that the majority of the games turned during the stretch when Anthony Davis is on the bench and the Lakers gave up a string of offensive rebounds.
That is it that is number one

Vogel defense was great. But he didnt every try to let Big Penguin fit into the stystem. And figure out how to play together w/AD. if i recall correctly he wudnt dap up vogel on sideline at end of one of the last games. He wud get a few mins here or there. Vogel Walton and Ham rotations were beyond trash

No On Edey - He is a Young Boban that cannot Run with US on Offense and will be a Huge Liability on Defense bcuz He will be pulled away from the Basket on Pic & Roll Plays!!!
If We keep Our 1st Round Pic, the only players We should Trade Up for are Ware & Da Silva.

Kareem would get the rebound and throw a outlet pass never go to the other end of the Court that's how he stayed in the league so long

AD doesn't want to play the 5 full time, Rob should have signed Howard or Cousins two years ago we seen that work in 2020 and Drummond is a good choice if they can get him again
