Nice set up .the 124 cars are pretty cool ,have you tried running them without the magnets ? It would be great if you could get yourself some tables to mount the track on . Saves the back in the long run i cant bend so much so I have mine on baseboards. Thanks for sharing 👍 Greetings from Northern Europe...Harry

No I haven't removed magnets yet still getting use to it, I'm working on adding another 1/24 set to it , just not big enough, cars eat Up that track quickly, also if I add another track I'm thinking of eliminating the bridge and keeping it level with more straitaways and curves. Not a big fan of bridges. I'm 60 yrs myself, and playing on the floor is long gone so right now I use beach chairs which are very low, once I figure out my final layout, I'll probably elevate it

Suggestion: Smooth = FAST. Turn your breaking down to the point where you lift off the plunger, the car continues forward for about a foot or so. You'll find that you can transition from on and off throttle without the jerkiness. I run my 124s and 132s for that matter at around 20%. That's setting the break for the car to just 1 "solid" dot. You are creating lash when the power cuts too quickly and forces the backend around on you. Please keep the videos coming. It's great to see more folks coming into the hobby. Funny. As I am typing this, you mentioned "I still haven't played around with the breaking on this". Time to play. . .🤣

Yes, exactly what I was thinking, don't need full brakes coming on, just didn't know what setting it would take...thank you, I have another 1/24 set I purchased on ebay, no cars, $150. Which was mostly s&h classic legends set. So when I figure out my final layout I'll start ordering the accessories to take advantage of the digital features, pit lane, dashboard...ect.

I have all 124 scale cars they are the best for me. You should give a thought to giving up on any over passes. Run just a flat setup. I have more fun with a flat layout. Also get Smartrace for timing and a leader board. Then you will not need position towers. Smart race is the best for Carrera digital. Also Smartrace will save you money on expensive Carrera stuff.

I'm going flat as soon as the second set gets here to connect to it, if smartrace is run through internet and computer, I'm shit outta luck, I don't live there so don't have TV, cable, internet. I just started playing with the braking today as suggested by a viewer and lowered to 20% , big difference, I was never a big fan of bridges, they where fine on my afx sets in the 70's, I don't mind so much on my 1/32 layout because of scenery detailing. Thanks for the advice, always appreciated.
