A bungie cord with a padded hook, or use a rag, can hook the lip of the tank and you can run it back to the rack or something under the seat to hold the tank up. Definitely recommend doing it with low fuel.
That BMC filter is a guaze type that NEEDS to be cleaned with soap and water, then dried overnight.Then when its completely dry then re oiled. What you have is a dry filter that WILL NOT do its job anf suck dirt into your engine!!!
