The gasoline station near where I live started on fire. The National Guard gave good service in protecting the firefighters while putting out the fire. It could have spread out to the neighborhood if the fire department had not been able to get to the fire in time due to other fire emergencies.

Disclaimer: I am in no way shape or form intentionally trying to piss people off, I am simply providing a view point on what is currently happening. Before I began this long statement, I would like to state that what happened to George Floyd was wrong and it's undoubtedly the low point in America, when I refer to people who break stuff and destory things, I am not specifically referring to protesters, in fact there are many peaceful protesters, however, there are many people who are not even protesting who go and decide to take advantage of the chaos and destroy things. With that said; The videos shown are nothing compared to what it's actually like in Minneapolis. In fact if you took a walk around downtown Minneapolis, you'd mistake Minneapolis for a "third world area". I've heard from many people that they aren't able to get any sleep and many are left sleep deprived from all the noise. I can say the same. Infact many people have chosen to leave Minneapolis to go and seek refuge at hotels miles away from Minneapolis and not just hundreds of people, but thousands, because they fear for their lives. The Walgreens where so many get life saving medication has been completely shut down and those needing to get medication are left scrambling to find another place. People aren't able to buy basic necessities in Minneapolis, milk, bread, etc without having too travel for hours. People who don't want to get involved are in fear of their house being burned down and their business being destroyed. Many local businesses that survived covid are now being slaughtered by people who disregard others (again I am not against the PEACFUL PROTESTING, I am against the looting and destruction,). Many people are going to live in fear of dying until people stop destroying things. As I looked downtown I saw many business that had been destroyed that did absolutely nothing. The Little Caesars was completely decimated and that's a couple thousand dollars of damage right there. What the hell did Little Caesars do? Why Target local businesses that are already struggling to stay afloat and survive covid only to laugh in their face while causing thousands of dollars in property damage. (Towards the people who are destroying businesses, etc)\/ Now if this is what you want to do, go ahead, but do keep in mind that when you Target these businesses, they'll just pack their shit, collect their insurance money, and then get the hell out. Minneapolis will lose it's businesses and income will start to falter as more and more people leave because they are unimployed. If everyone can't come to their senses and be peaceful, Minneapolis is just going to become another Detroit if things keep going this way. Yes an arrest is in order AFTER an investigation deems that a crime has been committed. Remember this is a free country with laws to follow. All people will receive a trial by law. This is not Russia or a China type of dictatorship lead country. The county DA froze up on the investigation in dragging its feet on doing anything. That's when things unraveled. Before I began this long statement, I would like to state that what happened to George Floyd was wrong and it's undoubtedly the low point in America, when I refer to people who break stuff and destory things, I am not specifically referring to protesters, in fact there are many peaceful protesters, however, there are many people who are not even protesting who go and decide to take advantage of the chaos and destroy things. With that said;
The videos shown are nothing compared to what it's actually like in Minneapolis. In fact if you took a walk around downtown Minneapolis, you'd mistake Minneapolis for a "third world area". I've heard from many people that they aren't able to get any sleep and many are left sleep deprived from all the noise. I can say the same. Infact many people have chosen to leave Minneapolis to go and seek refuge at hotels miles away from Minneapolis and not just hundreds of people, but thousands, because they fear for their lives. The Walgreens where so many get life saving medication has been completely shut down and those needing to get medication are left scrambling to find another place. People aren't able to buy basic necessities in Minneapolis, milk, bread, etc without having too travel for hours. People who don't want to get involved are in fear of their house being burned down and their business being destroyed. Many local businesses that survived covid are now being slaughtered by people who disregard others (again I am not against the PEACFUL PROTESTING, I am against the looting and destruction,). Many people are going to live in fear of dying until people stop destroying things.
As I looked downtown I saw many business that had been destroyed that did absolutely nothing. The Little Caesars was completely decimated and that's a couple thousand dollars of damage right there. What the hell did Little Caesars do? Why Target local businesses that are already struggling to stay afloat and survive covid only to laugh in their face while causing thousands of dollars in property damage.

Now if this is what you want to do, go ahead, but do keep in mind that when you Target these businesses, they'll just pack their shit, collect their insurance money, and then get the hell out. Minneapolis will lose it's businesses and income will start to falter as more and more people leave because they are unimployed. If everyone can't come to their senses and be peaceful, Minneapolis is just going to become another Detroit if things keep going this way.

If 500 state gaurd personal couldn't keep things under control, then the situation has gotten out of control. Yes an arrest is in order AFTER an investigation deems that a crime has been committed. Remember this is a free country with laws to follow. All people will receive a trial by law. This is not Russia or a China type of dictatorship lead country. The county DA froze up on the investigation in dragging its feet on doing anything. That's when things unraveled. It appeared for several days nothing was being done. Even when the protests turned into riots nothing was done and even the police were instructed to stand down by who? The mayor and/or the police chief.
But I do understand your feelings but those who do what's right ( Good Cops ) have to follow the rule of law to arrest, bring the person ( bad cop here this time ) to trial before someone can be convicted in a fair trial. No criminal person follows the law but those that do will and be bound to law as it's written. The United States of America is a land of laws to be followed by all. If it is discovered in a court that this man was unlawfully murdered by the cop. This cop will pay a heavy price for the crime. Usually those that have the power to enforce the law upon the citizens do something this bad, he will be made an example of for all to see.

Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on application of the legislature, ""or of the Executive against domestic violence "". So if the governor can not control the domestic violence ( the riots) then the President can intervene to restore peace.
