Well, in case you're interested, here are some more of CDG's other Terminals: Terminal 1 ruclips.net/video/ScFas0tL-ts/видео.html Terminal 2A ruclips.net/video/u72wxUh78oY/видео.html 2F & TGV station ruclips.net/video/kebYAt5neQI/видео.html and 2E ruclips.net/video/y48f0y0jfng/видео.html . And finally, let's not forget Orly West ruclips.net/video/PN2DBJTe1b8/видео.html&lc=z12nwprw1s3evrgcw23nivuzisnvtdjux Enjoy the visits.
Thank you so much, I'll be arriving and departing Hong Kong-CDG2C 2019, the first time I use an airport in France. The video shows me exactly what to expect, and eliminates any uncertainty. Thanks again.
You're very welcome; thanks for watching. Just be aware that if you arrive at/leave from Terminal 2C, you may want to watch the video I posted of 2A. A and C are actually adjacent to each other and they share the Security checks, Immigration and Duty free Stores in a common building between them. Terminal 2D serves mostly European destinations and Ukraine and is actually located on the opposite side, adjacent to 2B which is currently closed for rehab works. ruclips.net/video/u72wxUh78oY/видео.html Bon voyage.
I watched the 2A video, made with affection, my interest is the downstairs Immigration, thank you so much again. The saying is Paris is the city of love, but France is the country of love. The Concorde Memorial off the runway, Notre-Dame de Paris, the Paris of Hemingway, Lourdes, La Salette.
Thanks for watching Yannis. Terminal 2D actually seems to be a bit less busy compared to the other CDG terminals that I've filmed so far, even if things get crowded rapidly ;-)
Thanks for uploading...Do I have enough time to board another flight from CDG Terminal 2D to 2F within 2 hrs layover ? Is it so confusing because I am travelling on June, 2018 for the first time....Thanks
Two hours are more than enough ;-) At 0:07, you see that 2D and 2F are on the same side, only with the TGV/RER train station in between. It's about 10 minute walk, but all covered and partly with moving walkways. Here's the link to a video of terminal 2F that I made also. ruclips.net/video/kebYAt5neQI/видео.html Just imagine that it's twice as far from 2D to 2F than from the TGV station to 2F as shown in that vid.
I'm flying to Paris via CDG in october. On my flight back home, how much time do you think I'll need to get to the airport, check-in, go through security, and find my gate? I leave on a sunday morning at 10AM. Is it usually packed sunday mornings or will it be easy to get through security and find my gate? I won't be checking any baggage so if I just check in online on my phone can I just head straight for security? Never been to CDG so I'm not sure what their layout and process is like.
It all depends on where you come from from inside Paris. One thing's for sure, Sunday mornings are usually not crowded. Finding the gate is very easy since the building is set out in a linear way; if you're unlucky, you may just have to do some walking. If all goes well, from the curbside to the gate should take between 10 and 20 minutes.
Thanks for the video! I will be arriving at T2D at 11.30 and have a TGV connection at 13.05. With baggage collection, do you think I can manage to catch the TGV train?
Thanks for watching. Yes, provided you arrive more or less on time, 1.5 hrs is largely sufficient. In case you're interested, below is the link to a video I made of Terminal 2F after arriving at the TGV station which is actually located halfway between 2C and 2F. So the distance between 2C and the station is the same as the one shown in the video between the station and 2F, it's just in the other direction ;-) ruclips.net/video/kebYAt5neQI/видео.html
I've watched that too ;-) Fingers crossed my plane is not parked somewhere remote aka will take the bus to terminal :D From your experience(s), how long does it take for the luggage delivery?
thanks to you for answering me and for this video. I will visit Paris for the first time next Monday, my Terminal is 2D for the arrival so I wanted to be sure Is exactly also for the departure. Thank you
Hi Pit! I know this video was shoot 2 years ago, but maybe you know this... I was wondering if the passport control still working... I am travelling from BCN to Paris this Friday... i have read they have put them back... is it fast? or it takes lots of time? thanks! I arrived to 2D terminal...
As I show in the vid, 2/3 of the gates are "inside Schengen", i.e. no immigration controls and 1/3 are "outside" for flights from Ukraine for example. I didn't know and I'm very surprised to hear thatPassport controls have been re-installed for flights arriving from Barcelona. Anyway, I wouldn't expect it to be very long since Terminal 2D is an 'independent' building with only the passengers handled from the gates of this specific building. Bon voyage.
@@PitSpielmann I was surprised too, but it happens to me when I went to Bordeaux.. I asked because it was shocking... and they said that it was because of the attacks... so I dunno. I am travelling tomorrow and I wanted to know if it would be ok with the European ID or if would be better to bring passport so I can go ahead with the biometric thing... thanks anyway for the answer :D kind regards
Very good. It gives a clear idea on how to get our way into and out of CDG! Thanks for uploading.
You're very welcome Mario. Thanks for your ongoing interest.
this video was awesome!!! i enjoyed it so much that i got sad when it ended so fast lol. thanks!

Usually 10 to 20 minutes, especially in a small terminal like 2D, it shouldn't be longer than that. Good luck ;-)
is the Terminal 2D for easyjet both for departures and arrivals????
Yes it is. All's practically the same as shown in this vid. Thanks for watching.
thanks to you for answering me and for this video. I will visit Paris for the first time next Monday, my Terminal is 2D for the arrival so I wanted to be sure Is exactly also for the departure. Thank you
If it's easyjet at arrival and departure and the airport is CDG, then yes, its 2D both times ;-) Have a good trip
thanks a lot again

If you have a passport, I suggest you bring it along. Just to be on the safe side then.
@@PitSpielmann yeah, I will let know what happens :P thanks for your kind reply
@@PitSpielmann there is a control... it's fast but still annoying... it's schegen area... but well...

I saw that ;-) Thanks for watching.
