A polish girl in class answered the meaning of the song, to unify and work together instead of against each other. I also told the kids before discussing the subject that it is a very sensitive subject and if anyone disagrees with what I am saying, they need to tell me. Maybe it is the key to have an open discussion, to remove the fear of one’s answers and have an open mind. One kid even stayed longer to discuss longer about this with me. I told him it is very important to think critically about things and have courage to share them. Maybe people should do their research before calling others out. And one only has to put citations under something when they are borrowing a piece of someone else’s work to add to their own piece of work. I’m pretty sure this song is Toms own creation and he didn’t use any lyrics from other songs that other people wrote. Therefore he would not need to put citations under anything. If you want a refresher on when and when not use citations, you can look it up in the newest edition of the MLA format. Maybe it is the key to have an open discussion, to remove the fear of one’s answers and have an open mind. One kid even stayed longer to discuss longer about this with me. I told him it is very important to think critically about things and have courage to share them. Why tell people to not work with private entities if they might give an unfavorable deal, while wearing clothing and jewelry from companies that have a history of abusing basic human rights. One is definitely worse than the other. Oh and that stupid persona of "I'm just doing me" fuck off, it's the same thing every rapper says. It's such an unoriginal concept. So what if rappers do what labels tell them that's still them doing themselves. This is the same dude that thinks he can spew fucking conspiracy theories and say that he is delivering the truth. If he wants to deliver truth and actually help kids learn what responsibility looks like, he should put fucking citations under these videos. You know to ACTUALLY PROVE WHAT HE IS SAYING IS THE TRUTH. Those are just my opinions. This isnt to detract from the positive impact this or his other songs may have, but if he wants to proclaim his views on a public forum he better have good evidence to support his claims.

I haven’t fact checked every song, but there is plenty of proof to back up every claim Tom made in this song. All you have to do is look it up on any credible source. Maybe people should do their research before calling others out. And one only has to put citations under something when they are borrowing a piece of someone else’s work to add to their own piece of work. I’m pretty sure this song is Toms own creation and he didn’t use any lyrics from other songs that other people wrote. Therefore he would not need to put citations under anything. If you want a refresher on when and when not use citations, you can look it up in the newest edition of the MLA format. What you’re trying to think of is called a “link” which is what someone adds to their work so that other people can click on it and learn more about the topic being discussed. Either way, it’s not Toms responsibility to hold your hand if you aren’t capable of learning and understanding basic knowledge. If you are capable enough to look up and watch this video, you’re capable enough to research fact and study the truth before you spout off with a bunch of hate and nonsense to make yourself look dumb.
