In this episode: I entertain myself with a game where I hit a ball in the dump into holes, I take a train to "puke," Belle the cow wants to trade for my cow skull, I create (and later destroy) an unhappy snowman, I visit a tiny island in Ham Town, Leopold gets stuck between acres, I hide my work uniform in the bushes and Nook gets mad, and more.

I love the old animal crossing with its primitive inventory functionality and acre system and overabundance of sea bass
at least one of those things doesn't seem like it's going anywhere
Luke Hartmann new horizons seems to go back to the formula of having a lot of sea bass. New leaf didn’t seem like it hat that many

Yes. It depends on how often you step on that specific piece of grass per day.
The volleyball and the fishing pole bobber interaction is a nice, small detail.

Wait theory: Champ is Porter’s brother and he drives the train. They both look the same, and if you look when entering the train station at the beginning of the game you see and identical monkey driving the train!

This series is so lovely!! I'm a sucker for the original Animal Crossing and you seem to have so much fun with it! And the level of PETTY towards the villagers is amazing 😂😄
The 2:00 minute villager is one of my favorite designs

4:29 if you keep dropping the uniform on the ground and keep asking Tom Nook for another one, you can duplicate it infinitely. It is pretty useless but hey, that's a duplication "glitch"

I have one of those little islands in Rosetown (my GC town); it’s shaped like a D, so I call it “D Island”.
Whenever you went in the store,took the work clothes from Tom nook,left and dropped them and got new clothes,maybe you could have dropped them outside again and then keep going until he stops giving you clothes and then you could sell all the work uniforms.
True, you could. But you can't sell things until you're done working Tom Nook, and I don't think they sell for much anyway.

There are a few different town tunes in this video, since I used clips from different towns. But the one mainly used in the Forest clips (my main town) is Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People.

You just need multiple memory cards. You can put one town on each card.

3:30 What causes the villagers to say this? I had a villager say this to me once on my old GameCube game and I couldn't find anything about it online. It really surprised me as it had never happened before, and she just said it without the game giving me the option to ask for work or a conversation.
It's a Katrina fortune. There are two types of bad luck fortunes. The more well-known one just makes you fall down a bunch. But there's also one which makes villagers sometimes not want to talk to you.

I’m wondering, why do you have multiple versions of yourself? (Like in one clip, you’re Face 1, then in another clip, you’re Face 2)
I have two towns with two different characters, but also, I've been making some temporary towns lately (just starting the game without a memory card plugged in). So this video has clips from several of those players/towns.

Hey just wanted to ask if you are playing this on an emulator? If you are could ya maybe link me to the rom (having trouble finding an actual copy of animal crossing for my gamecube recently) edit: I am gonna say this ahead of time just incase someone asks yes I have tried looking for a rom myself but i can't seem to find a reliable download and when I think I have the website sends me to a link that no longer works
Sorry, but I can't help. I'm not using an emulator, I have the GameCube disc and I'm playing on a Wii.

I never had my 2008 Animal Crossing City Folk online . Its always on WII ( offline ) is there updates for the game ? Do they ever expand the Fish , Bugs lists or add new flowers ? I like the game but seems like I exhausted all levels for three player profiles. Completed Fish , bugs , museum , Golden tools and so on ............ I repeated the game with two more profiles. Except only one profile has the Golden watering can , do all 3 profiles get the Golden can when only one profile did all work ? p.s , you should have more subs , great job !!
The only updates were some DLC items (and a couple of furniture sets). Bigger updates like you suggest weren't as common in the Wii days. I believe all players should be able to get the golden can, even if the work has already been done. You still have to keep too many flowers from dying, of course. Thanks for the comment!
Once I was playing animal crossing new leaf and was going to write a letter to a character named kid cat and I get the paper and where the name of the person was supposed to be it said dear so sexy kid cat.LIKE I WAS NINE!!

Jeff, I'm curious. How often do you play New Leaf? If it's alright with you, would you consider adding me? I understand if you don't want to.
Sorry, but I'm no longer adding 3DS friends. I play New Leaf just about daily, but almost never online any more--it's just one-player, and usually just for a few minutes.

How come the graphics are so smooth?
I play it on a Wii and use component cables (better quality than composite) to record my videos. So if you use composite (the red/white/yellow cables), that would explain the difference.
jvgsjeff Any idea if a Wii2HDMI cable would achieve the same thing?
I haven't tried that one, but it sounds like it should give you a better picture quality than composite cables. I recommend reading reviews of it before buying, though.
