    My husband and I watched you’re videos, 3 years ago, on our honeymoon at the coast. We went and bought some tools and made some castles! People took pictures of them and even posed with our castles! We watched from our balcony. Felt a little like celebrities lol

      did you watch all the beginner's videos? and you have buckets lube and a shovel - then the block should be easy - then follow instructions make 2 giant pencils and put a diagonal line between them and that's your stairs!.. looking forward to pictures.

    Andy, love your videos, thanks so much! I’ve learned a ton, but I must say that our sand here on the outer banks of NC leaves a bit to be desired. I.e. it sucks! But I’m doing the best I can with what I’ve got. Thanks again.

    • @SandcastleAndy
      @SandcastleAndy  5 лет назад

      VirtualWoodshed well, where ae you? Look up videos on sandcastle building on YT? As someone out there has bound to have made one...which beach do you use?

      Andy Hancock on vacation at Emerald Isle at the moment. Had some better results today but my bridges still collapsed. Oh well, it was fun and my family was impressed! 😉

    • @SandcastleAndy
      @SandcastleAndy  5 лет назад +1

      try stacking the bridge arch bases closer together then carve the arch away from the big supports that should do it! when you are doing an arch you should only be able to put your hand sideways between the piles... makes it waay easier #wedontdohard

    • @SandcastleAndy

      add adddic addictive...naaah..lol of course you need to find the finer sand and buy a trash can and a toolkit - then you can rock it!

      Alexander Harmon ..hi Alex..we only spray the finished castles if they have to be kept for some reason..say like waiting for family to arrive or competition. good question!

      OH ok i see. Today was my worst day cause it was raining like heck in our back yard and i was making a castle in the sand pit and every time i make overhangs it just breaks off and i had spent an hour and make like afew windows, but It get so frustrating when it cracks

    • @SandcastleAndy
      @SandcastleAndy  3 года назад

      start with a ramp, take away the sand directly above it and then start at the top and go straight down - withdraw the spatula back towards yourself then put spatula off to the left and slide it back to the downward cut you just made and lift off the piece...watch the older videos
