this is more my speed, just a nice chill day on the river... relaxed with out a care in the world but for the moment right in front of me... Great Video Y'all🧡🧡🧡
Great video guys, enjoyed it. Y'all need to tell people that as a rule gators don't like spring water cause it is just too cool but yes, anywhere there is fresh or salt water, you can find them. Love this trip, will have to make it one day soon. Thanks for the detailed info on all the springs.
Beautiful, thank you. Have you guys been down the Silver Springs run yet? If not, I think you will love it, more wildlife than any other river I've been on so far.
we're heading down 8/31 for a three night stay in High Springs, and we've never been on a kayak before...would anyone suggest any sort of training before hand? it looks like we could handle it until we accidentally flip it :)
No I don’t think you need much training. The paddle is downstream on the Santa Fe, so there’s not a lot of weirdness to it. I would suggest using the boat ramp area to make sure you can go straight, paddle backwards, and use the paddle as a rudder to aim right or left. When you feel comfortable in the canal near the boat ramp, I’d say you are ready to paddle into the river. Wear the life vest for extra security! I hope that helps a bit! Have fun.
