Note that this is the retail version -- the deluxe version has stackable tiles instead of cubes, unique locomotive sculps, (some other component upgrades) and comes with more maps. Speaking of maps -- some terrain does cost $ to build -(hills $2, mountains $4) - not a lot of costly terrain on the Steel Belt map
Thanks for the comment Brian - I should have covered the cost of laying track, but thought I would keep it simple in my overview, especially since the Steel Belt map is doesn't have much costly building on it. The retail version's rulebook does have photos of the cool bits, but it's perfectly fine with cubes and wooden locomotives/factories.
