@@postfishingclarity Yeap, I’ve caught bass with the same exact lure, and I don’t even fish for bass often at all. The blue rod is a shimano GLF 7’-6” medium fast spinning rod
This spot here is 100% salt so no bass. If you wanna target bass in the river, I’d fish more towards the buckman and anything up river from there. Or just look for ponds or lakes using google maps. Should be plenty of bass in those bodies of water🙌
Oh definitely! Basically any topwater blowup from a big fish is unbeatable. Since you’re in the gulf, I’d imagine a giant snook on topwater tops them all!
To order the LocalTails shirt that I'm wearing (Black long sleeve dual blend), please check out our Instagram account @localtails. Thank you!🤙
Thanks for posting this I was literally commenting about topwater fishing then boom you post one thanks

Wow! You tore em up! Great video, I can't wait to go back.
Yessir! Nothing like catching them on topwater!🙌
Can't beat top water action on Fort George river! 👍
💯Especially during the colder months!
Topwater gets my adrenaline pumping! Love the gear. I'm going to need some new shirts and hats, I'm wearing mine out

Great Job, that’s how you do it!!
💯💯🙌🙌
Nice trout, excellent video.
Thank you!!👊
Top water man! Love it. You need to go over to the west coast with me some time. Grass flats for miles
Been wanting to for a while. Big trout over there? Let’s plan something!
@@VISUAL-LY There are especially in late fall and early spring
@@joeyfitzpatrickfishing I’ve seen cobia too, while riding to scalloping spots. Just never fished out there
@@VISUAL-LY Cobia run is wild in April man. I need to make a video 😂
@@joeyfitzpatrickfishing let me go with you for that trip! Lol
Ok so I’m fairly new to fishing, what is that blue rod, also do those lures only work for trout or can it work for bass too?

I was just there yesterday as the tida was coming in. No luck though
In the evening too?
@@VISUAL-LY yeah, all I got was a pesky turtle that kept snapping my line.
nice catch
Thanks bro!
Where did y'all launch from?
That’s right there at ft George inlet/Huguenot
Any Bass out there? looking for new bank fishing spots. No Kayak yet
Do you mean large mouth bass?
@@VISUAL-LY any kind, new angler and hoping to catch some bass

Topwater redfish beats it 😉
Haha not for me. They’re sloppy eaters and don’t explode onto a lure like a trout. Still cool though🤙
@@VISUAL-LY I haven’t had too much experience. I’ve been fishing in the gulf since I’m at fsu and Ive had some super cool redfish blowups recently
