The roof seems too low, at least 12 coaches recommended to allow for dwarf banana, pawpaw etc. Surprised snails already aestivating, means not enough watering. Obviously the snail roof is also not snail proofed. That is sealing the roof where the frame join the the walls. Also have to check the walls down to the foundation to ensure no holes which can be used by rodents and even snakes. Also ensure joining of the net is well knitted The feeding stations seems to be few and far between. For that kind of space nothing less than 100 feeding stations. Nothing fancy like the plastic. I used 4 9-inch blocks to design something that works. Also like you mentioned, feed can be poured along the edges of the walkway at night. That ensures that every snail comes to the party Also no sign of water for the snails, partly why they aestivate Just want everyone to make a success of this. Best regards
Thank you so much... All this are what we have recommend to the owner. The construction wasn't done by me, I was only invited to come see how it was constructed and I have seen lots of mistakes in the construction and have given me recommendations and I hope the owner takes it serious.
The pen house concept is very good.l like the recommendations given to him.Also the height of the net is too low.it's always better to have between 12 block coach to 14 to get a good height on the net.Also the springler system is good but as you said if it is installed on ground it might be better.Overall good video and thanks for the information.

Snails eat a lot and I don't think the plants in the greenhouse will be sufficient for them. You need to invest greatly in their feeding. My snails are going habitation even though I water the pens every day. I think naturally they do so when hamattan is approaching.
If you water properly, not only once a day, but as much as necessary, they will not hibernate. Also depends on the humidity in your area and the type of pen

Water very well and you wouldn't experience hibernation as long as the environment is conducive for them.
