GICON TLP - Transport and Installation (extended)

The GICON® SOF shown in its assembling chain at the docks. Following the parts from the subcontractor to the finish line.
Thanks to the usage of high performance concrete pipes, shells as used for building tunnels and casted iron joints, the TLP technology is ready for serial production. Therefore it is possible to reduce LCOE and CO2 emission enourmesly. The SOF reached after completing tank tests in Nantes (ECN) in November 2017 the TRL 5.
The TLP is a product of cooperation of the german based engeneering consultant GICON, the University of Rostock (Endowed Chair of Wind Energy Technology).
