TesseracT are the kings of progressive/djent, bruh. They made so much music back in the day and have been so influential for so many bands in the modern metal scene across a wide array of genres.
This band deserves all the hype and recognition they’re getting at the moment. You love to see it
This group has been around for ages. And they NEVER disappoint. Live shows are just as good as albums. They hit it all live too. Their tour for this album is starting in October and they will be back in the United States. Go check them out! They just released a second song off of the album last week called “The Grey”. Never expected to see my favorite band on your channel! Hell yeah man, I'm glad you enjoyed it. They've been around forever and always flew under the radar, so seeing this track get some plays has been incredible.

Welcome to Djent/Progressive Metal! 😁😁😁 TesseracT is one of the bands responsible for popularizing Djent (a subgenre of metal with funky, hard riffs synchronized to unique drumming/time signatures/time changes). Some of the best musicians in the progressive genre imo, with a focus on elaborate/atmospheric production, bass guitar, complex drums and Daniel Tompkins insanely powerful clean/harsh vocals. Seeing these guys live, it's hard to tell the difference between the studio versions.
I highly recommend more TesseracT! They've been at it for a minute, and got a deep and satisfying rabbit-hole to explore. This latest track of theirs (and album) they've called a "return to form", and I definitely agree. Not only that, but a GREAT return to form. This is the kind of structure and sound you can expect from their catalogue. So, if you dig this, I guarantee you'll like their other stuff
Couple recommendations from me would be, "Tourniquet", "Juno", "King" and "Hexes". I'll bet on you liking each one, so should get you off to a good start. 🤘

Daniel Tompkins is mostly a clean singer( And a great one at that) this is probably the most screaming I’ve heard from him. If you don’t react to more Tasseract just look up Daniel name he does a lot of side projects

I'm not surprised you respected this so much, since you respect Periphery too, but still man...thanks for giving this band credit! Tesseract is kind of well known in the progressive metal scene, but they still don't get a ton of engagement on social media and RUclips for some reason. The 500K views on this song is actually pretty good for them.

Yes!!!!! TesseracT!!!!! Just for future refernce its just pronounced Tesseract. The way they spell it is just stylized as TesseracT :)

Just an FYI, TesseracT is a stylized spelling, but it's pronounced "Tesser-ACT" (rhyming with "act", "tact", "fact", "tract", etc).
Unfortunately, you haven't come across these guys because music like this isn't promoted in our culture. It's not as easily consumed or sold, like pop music with it's simplistic and easily digested A-B-C-A-B structure. Progressive Metal is like modern-day classical music (I would say the same for metal/rock in general), so it takes someone who genuinely appreciates music to enjoy it, not someone who just wants something to "jam/dance or zone-out to". That being said, I think that if more people WERE exposed to this music, the more popular it WOULD be. But you know the music business; much like any other business involved in art, they just want what's a surefire moneymaker over a good piece of art.
Hope to see you do more of this genre! Not kidding when I say I think you're likely to come across some lifechanging music if you do.
