When did you put in the new o-rings? Can this be replaced while it's still on the engine, or you gotta take the whole thing out like you did, just to replace the small piece with clip?
Try cycling the key twice before starting and see if it will start. Did you replace the fuel filter when you replaced the pump? Plugged filters have been known, too cause a similar issue.
So if the vaccum hose seems to have a tear and leak..would it be wise to replace this part as well? Or just swap out the hose? Appreciate the video and any help.
I thought my part was too big , you showing me how it properly sits helped thanks man
No problem, I am looking to go back to some long form content this year. I have been doing more reels for the last year.
I have same sierra but an 06, can NOT find where it’s at

Yes, any vacuum leaks will also affect the fuel pressure regulator. Definitely replace the hose.
@BadWrenchAuto Roger that, thanks for the education and how to video. 👍
You said it backwards at the end of the video it’s 5.3 you said 3.5!
No offence mate but 5 minutes in and just blah blah blah....
Please just keep it simple and to the point.
Where the retainer clip goes?? Thanks
The retaining Clip slides thru the fuel rail. After you push the regulator all the way in. It will pinch the regulator to the fuel rail.
@@BadWrenchAuto thanks a lot for replying back, the package has another thin clip this is also necessary and where this goes thanks again.
