To people saying they shouldn't be caged: this was filmed at the Chengdu research base for giant Panda. This center is the largest breeding center in the world for giant pandas and it is largely responsible for pandas to not be extinct as a specy. They breed dozens of pandas and release some in the wild every year. A portion of the center is open to the public and you can visit it like a zoo to see the pandas, but the main purpose of this place is to protect pandas and make more of them.
I thought that it was common knowledge that Pandas are incels and need to be forced to breed

If we can't treat Human Mothers like this, we shouldn't treat Animals Mothers like this either. Would a small amount of comfort kill the Humans? They make ALOT of Money off these Pandas.

All momma pandas are like this. They love and protect their kids unconditionally.
The reason they took the baby is several reasons....
To check it's health, to give it vaccinations needed and to take it to a special nursery where they are raised.
Each of these nannies take care of at least one panda from birth to the rainbow bridge.
That's why in videos you see certain pandas attached to certain nannies.
Not all sadly
I saw in one other video that pandas raise only one baby even if it gives birth to two and the other one dies.
And I saw that they exchange the babies every now and then and the mother doesn't seem to know the difference and both the babies survive.
@@vyaas_v this! it’s originally a behavioural mechanic to make sure the 1 baby has as good a chance of reaching maturity as possible. Interesting really as most animals go with the let’s have as many as possible & let the chips fall where they may.

In the wild jungle, there are tree brunches and huge logs lying everywhere. That safe enclosure is much more comfortable compared to the jungle
In fairness they are pretty round and fluffy themselves.

The panda moms and dads are not to be messed with hence the bars...They do have more than one cub so they swap them carefully for nuturing.

You are absolutely correct. Whatever facility we provide them they in prison only.. Away from their own home.. That is captive breeding.. I hate that.. Their life is not for our enjoyment. My question is breeding in captive and eliminating inborn qualities what is use..
