That’s the thing though, it’s not a high level at all. For Messi, who has won the World Cup, the copa America, the champions league, many Spanish League cups and the cup del rey, this is amateur level stuff for him. He doesn’t care about adding a MLS trophy to his name. In fact, before Messi joined the MLS I had never even really heard of it or watched a single minute of it.
