I know its late, but just in case anyone else is curious: He grabbed the rose from his pocket with his right hand, the flower itself in his palm and the stem of it against his arm. The cloth is red, which attracts the audience's attention away from his right hand which contains the rose. He grabs the cloth with his index finger while still holding onto the rose, then swings the cloth around to completely cover up the stem. (If you pause at the right moment during this action you can see the stem just slightly.) Simple as that!

When I see performances like this I really don't understand why people call Shindong oppa fat, like if he was truly fat he would not be dancing with this much energy and strength. I mean he was one of the few that danced with the same intensity through the whole performance. Truly fat people wouldn't be able to do that. As a huskier dancer I would know this.
I hate how people say he's fat just because he doesn't have the "idol" image. Even me, when I first discovered SUJU I thought the same thing, but if realize how shallow I was. He is so talented and actually pretty attractive :3
I love him to death, he's the reason why I no longer listen to the other girls on my dance team when they call me fat. I used to let their words affect me but Shindong oppa helped me realize that you can be a beast dancer no matter your size and now I have more stamina then the other girls. He's just so adorable and a great inspiration for "chubbier" people

I saw in a show that Heechul wore sunglasses because he was in pain when dancing and didn't want to be seen crying. I'm not sure if he was referring to one particular time or in general because my Korean isn't advanced level yet and there weren't subs but now when I see him wearing sunglasses, I want to hug him so bad.
