Thoroughly enjoying this renovation series. Fixing the structure and putting back together, physically, emotionally and monetarily expensive. Making a house a home together, priceless!😻
Such a charming house ❤ with long history and it's own character but my God, these wooden beams could give anxiety to anyone living in it 😮 I hope all of them are being replaced and you'll all be safe now 🙏👍
Hello Roos and Boyf, I'm so very happy that you guys were able to get this renovation done. It's scary to think about the ceiling collapsing in on you. Everything you have shown us looks so good 👍 😍 ❤.
Thank you so much! Yeah it was scary, we didn't realise it was this bad until they opened it up. It feels great now to know it's all good and safe for many years to come
I could have watched this for hours. Its fascinating. At the moment something has happened to my emotions were I keep feeling emotional surges, tearful, over all sorts of things, good and bad things, this, your renovation is of course a good thing and it got me a bit emotional. Amazing work all of you.
aww thank you! i know that state of just being triggered easily, i'm glad this video was a positive ❤ already working on the next video so that we can continue the breaking down and building back up into what it is now :) thank you!
Oh my word Roos. I can’t believe how rotted the wood was. If yours was like that, imagine what is happening with your neighbours 😱. What an undertaking this all has been for you both. Good thing your BF is handy to help cut on costs. I wouldn’t want to guess the cost on doing this renno. Here in Canada it would be into the hundred thousands. Can’t wait to see more. Love this. What are those 3 white little boxes above the large window? Lights?
Right!?? It was pulp! Funny story, our old neighbour was friends with the old man who lived in our home. The neighbour would improve his home and fix things up and offer the old man to do it together on both the houses but the old man always said this house is fine, and he fixed all issues with caulk.. 😅🤭 so I think the neighbours house is in a lot better condition. But yeah the main big beam probably is also rotted!

You are doing such a nice job with your house 👏👏 it's really gorgeous and so Dutch 😍🥰Love it..I got a bit nostalgic 😂
Thank you very much! Yes it's a traditional Dutch fisherman's cottage, this neighbourhood is so lovely and very close to the beach ❤️
Very interesting and satisfying to watch!🥰🥰
Thank you very much!! ❤️
Roos! It's so amazing! My hubby is a window/door installer and was impressed..
Oooooohhhh haha that's so cool to hear thank you!
Although the smashing of the glass would have been alot different.. 😉
Great job you and your boyfriend (which we are eager to know his name ) are doing a great job 👏
His name is Geert so it's easier to say boyfriend if you don't speak Dutch 😅
