This is Woolie VS The Algorithm, a new RUclips Channel where you'll find all of the best and funniest moments from WoolieVersus. The highlight videos released here will have tight editing and enhancements of the hypest moments to create an even more fun experience, as well as gateway into checking out the full length WoolieVersus content.
Together with his friend Reggie, they have played numerious games on the channel ranging from genres like RPG, JRPG, Fighting Games, and FPS. Games like Elden Ring (open world Dark Souls game), Mass Effect (Legendary Edition), Final Fantasy 6 (Pixel Remaster) and Disco Elysium (Disco Elysium Final Cut). Woolie hosts Get Into Fighting Games, which is a series that introduces new and old fighting games like Guilty Gear Strive (GG Strive) and Skullgirls. Clips from the podcast Castle Super Beast which he records with PatStaresAt are also hosted on the WoolieVersus channel. Woolie has collaborated with other content creators like Super Eyepatch Wolf and LittleVmills. Some of his most popular videos are his lore videos on Gulity Gear (GUILTY GEAR LORE: Heaven or Hell) and Kirby (Kirby Lore: Star Allies, Dark Matter Trilogy and Morpho).

Unironically hype for the new influx of episodes standing in one place for 40 minutes listening to Reggie and Wollie dissect the lore. You dont get that much with most streamers. They really dig in deep and try to figure it all out and its great.

Interviews with Miyazaki seem to indicate the senpou monk tatsu is NOT a weapon art but a full moveset. Can't wait to build a character around it no matter how minus it is.

I’m already building a build around fire prelate armor for the Fat Monk of Doom in anticipation
For the love of god, please patch the Veteren’s Prosthesis weapon to be that kick weapon type instead of a fist like it currently is.
It reminded me a lot of the monk moves from Sekiro, I wonder if they used that as a base for this move set. I hope so, some of those moves were sick as fuck.
All the archetypes seems to have new tools. Has a Shielder, I am excited for the Bladed Shield. Doing Elder Ring with Only Shield has a weapon is an entirely different game and experience.
@@SyLuX636 shields only is neat. Spoked palisade shield with shield crash and poison infusion is a lot of fun.

I hope there’s a Deathblight Swamp, and a Sleep Swamp, and a Frenzy Swamp, I just got to Lake Of Rot on my first playthrough and I hope Miyazaki continues to make the swamps increasingly unfair and absurd somehow

Cant wait for the de-level swamp that steals your stats but doesn’t decrease your level, making you farm twice as long to get em back.

I was confused by the thumbnail until I realized it was Yakuza cosplay
Took me a minute into the video to realise why Reggie was wearing an eye patch
The kick moveset might be a remake of the bone fist weapon from DS2, which had a unique set of attacks, and then mixing in a bit of Sekiro's senpo temple monk moves.
Also there's an interview with Miyazaki about the DLC on Famitsu I think, and there he mentioned 8 new different weapon classes. He also mentioned something about eastern cultures, so I think there might be a bunch of stuff from the land of reeds. A great katana is almost guaranteed at least.
The Nagakiba is essentially a great katana/odachi
@@sesh517nah it's a spindly boi but it doesn't have the Girth, feels like waving around a long car antenna.
@@PotionSmeller Girth has literally nothing to do with an Odachi. They are classified as such due to their length which must be over 3 shaku or 90 cm.
@@sesh517 Technically yes, but by necessity real world Odachi blades had to be more robust to support the length and also more curved since they were primarily chopping weapons, as opposed to an absurdly long fantasy katana that's described as "reminiscent of a reinforced spear, its imposing length can be put to good use with powerful thrusting attacks."
Anyway, since odachi is already a confirmed new weapon type in the dlc, Fromsoft obviously doesn't see the Nagakiba as one.
Wait. Are we in the prequel LP’s where Reggie is revealed to be a clone of Big Boss and now we follow the Big Boss storyline that fundamentally changes our understanding of Reggie and why he fights?

For all the flak players (ie Woolie) give them they're easily one of the best designed mini-bosses in the game, especially compared to dogshit like Crystalian Trio and the invisible Black Knife Assassin.

I find funny Woolie has already been proven wrong about the DLC mintue 0 because Miyazaki confirmed in some interviews that the new area isn't in the past or future but an actual physical place in the present of Elden Ring lol. as for why its separated from the lands between he said we'll have to figure it out in game.
