Fun Fact: even though alot of things in Legends seem small, they are actually equivalent size to their Minecraft counterparts. Which means that the Piglin Runts are actaully (roughly) the size of normal Piglins from the base game. (which really puts into context just how big the bosses are)

I think Minecraft has to be a time loop. It starts with dungeons, where we see the destruction of the orb of dominance. Then it’s Minecraft where we take on the ender dragon. Finally, we are sent to the past in Minecraft legends, where we sufficiently beat the pilgrims into submission. Story mode is probably in an alternate universe.
I now simply imagine mobs from Story Mode becoming enemies and bosses here like think of it We have the Giant Enderman, the Colossus, and the Magma Golem that are perfect chaos bringers with a force akin to the Piglins That Would be epic
