Extraordinario capítulo de Zatoichi!, muchas gracias, Samurai Vs Ninja!
I appreciate all of the uploads on this channel, but this series was on a completely different level from most of the others. Kiichi Hogan, produced by Katsu, was close to this level. A few other series were pretty good (eg, Zankuro), and some just barely watchable (eg, Yoshimune). What set this apart was a little bit of everything from the stories, dialogue, sets, cinematography, directon to the great acting. It's one of the best drama series I've seen in any language.

even though katsu was a true pro,and seems very serious on set,i believe ichi if zato,was his kind selfless soul on screen to act with such love and compassion plus his sword style is so rare,long live the king of japanese budo cinema!

Ogami Itto and Daigoro come to mind, although their fate was tragic, here it's more of a burlesque, but with very serious undertones and a bitter-sweet end.
My thoughts exactly. I only wish they had made an episode where they crossed path.
I like this films when I was a child
There's a reference about thirty minutes into this episode to a scene from the first Lone Wolf and Cub movie, "Lone Wolf and Cub : Sword of Vengeance". Shintaro Katsu (who portrays Ichi in this series and the 25 Zatoichi movies) was the real life younger brother of Tomisaburo Wakayama, who is Ogami Itto/Lone Wolf in the Lone Wolf and Cub films.
