I noticed I forgot to explain something when I was editing this in post.
When I used the three way handshake as an example, stateful protocol analysis is able to use context to determine if traffic is doing what it is supposed to be doing or if something seems odd.

There IS a ton of stuff to learn from these videos. I have essentially a Celeron in the form of a AMD A4 laptop with 4GB. Thanks to you, I now know I don't want to run...say...pfSense or stuff like that on it to "massage" all the baddies out of my incoming data stream. May I say...your elocution is very good, and I can listen to you at double speed and STILL understand what is going on? As you know...that's not always the case with all Linux/security.privacy RUclipsrs. Aloha!

Thanks for the feedback! As far as audio, I started boosting the volume more recently to help with this. I'll be getting a new mic in the near future to fully address it.

Wy don't the routers have a unique password and admin that only the buyer knows before purchasing

My guess is it comes down to convenience for the manufacturers. They probably don't care much about a $30 router that gets sold through a big box store. I've noticed some manufacturers are now starting to add unique logins for each router. It'll probably be much more common in the next few years with how much of an issue cybersecurity is becoming.

@@KenHarrisio I think manufacturering things and people's safety through the internet should be two different categories not because of greed

@@haroldsmith768 I agree 100%. It's unfortunate that the privacy and security of people is thrown to the wind constantly. I see it happen time and time again when I hear of a data breach where people have things like their SSNs get stolen and find out the company was doing blatant garbage like storing personal info unencrypted.
