Star Wars Outlaws is an upcoming action-adventure game set in the Star Wars universe developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft under license by Lucasfilm Games. The game takes place during the period between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and is set to be released in 2024.

Corporate "Poor man's KOTOR 3" is accurate. Looks like some mid netflix/disney plus series in video game form, there are dozens and dozens of different races in star wars yet the main character is always some human who sounds like they majored in theater at some arts college.

usually anytime you’re playing the the primary protagonist in a star wars game you’re “strong” lol. What’s wrong as playin as a female? I mean yeah i’d much rather play as like han solo or something but doesn’t bother me that much, game looks cool

Ah, the old "get the mcguffin, return it, get another one, return it..... rinse and repeat". Easily 70 bucks worth surely. 40 extra bucks to return a different mcguffin to Jabba will be too good to turn down too. 🙄

Now that all Star Wars games are practically Canon, there is no risk of releasing a Game where you can customize your character from size to race, it would not make a good coherence with the story. Too bad, I would have liked to be a Trandoshan manipulating the Force.
I don't understand the hate for the main character design. I think it's awesome that she is half Gungan.

You know, I came up with this idea for a game. It'd advertise as having a lot of free choice. At no point in the game would you ever see a choice, like choosing to bribe or not bribe in this trailer. I think of a game of Dues Ex. If throughout the game you're really thorough and search everything, your character becomes thorough and finds shit in cutscenes and ask the right questions. If you're really aggressive in situations you don't need to be, the character is aggressive. You'd get different endings based on the character reacting differently without ever seeing a choice box.
Sold....but not so much on what appears to be a locked-in model for the main character. Sliders have been a thing for decades now. Male and female have been a thing for even longer.

I dont expect anything.I know im going to play the game,and i belive there will be some cool stuff in the game. Anyway,its just a game. Dont hate before you even played it. Dont be that sheep on youtube that just hate on games,because some youtuber tells you that he hates it(but has never played it)time for me to play some outlast trials,then some Enlisted. always fun with a solid ww2 game like enlisted.
Definitely 60fps-ish. Saw a multiple instances of frame drops. Hopefully that can be tweaked by launch.

I think it looks good. Nice to see a Jedi Survivor style game without the Jedi. I hope it's good and successful - and I hope that success leads them to create more games with more freedom in the character creation.
I understand this is kind of like reading a book -- you don't make the character, but the story is richer for it. But I wouldn't mind something like that in the future -- all us poor peasant have is SWTOR and that game's age shines brightly.

My only issue that this gameplay looks heavily scripted, we had same issues when Ghost Recon Wildlands videos came out and game was nothing compared to it.
Of course it is. Many games do this thing, create some kind of demo and they advertise it, fooling us. We all know the game won't look like this and also, the gameplay will be different. Big empty world, filled with microtransactions, repetitive and boring quests, gathering stones and leaves lol

The Max Payne, Prince of Persia slow down trick is a nice addition to pretty much every combat game. Game looks great. I welcome new characters and don't mind the female protagonist but might've preferred this to be a Han Solo game, especially since Harrison Ford is still alive to do the voice work.

the game seems amazing not gonna lie but why they didnt make a massive online game? I dont wanna be bound to a female character... I wanted to create a character myself, give her a name or him, meet people online... but this is just a single player game in a real big world... this is not the future os gaming...GTA6 is gonna be the best game of all time

@@SpencerfromEarth i played both. i read the game and it is about an outlaw that uses guns. and you can only play as her. no character customization and in order to wield a lightsaber one must have studied and trained in the arts of a jedi (at least have force sensitive)... so do your research you table
