Dad and I go to a secret trophy lake in hopes of catching some giant largemouth bass! This hidden lake is loaded and has a ton of big bass in it! We caught some nice ones! This is where I caught my 12 pounder last year! This lake is Headwaters Lake in Florida. It has some giants in it. We ran into Roland Martin out on the water and they were catching a ton of bass! Glad I found this video. I started fishing with my dad probably 60 years ago and he was still around when my first born son learned to love fishing. Now, my son and I will be coming to Guntersville for the 3rd year in a row and hoping for one of us to catch our lifetime best...

I ended up with severe 3rd degree sunburn on both of my shins and the back calf area of my left leg from fishing a two day tournament on Kissimmee. It was BAD! My legs literally looked like Freddy Krueger's face... no joke. I was in a LOT of pain and was essentially immobilized that following Monday. It's crazy how you take things for granted such as your legs because they're there and they aren't an issue, but you find out quick just how valuable things are when they prevent you from doing things you're used to doing with relative ease. I figured the only way to deal with it was to wait it out and just heal up on my own. I don't have insurance so it essentially was the only play in my playbook that I could do. The burns caused severe swelling in my legs. They retained a lot of fluid and the wounds were leaking/weeping and therefor could not heal properly due to the wetness whereas they need to be dry to scab up and heal. It was like fighting an uphill endless battle with no real end in sight. Some days, however, did have promise whereas things looked like they might be headed in the right direction but would ultimately just end up going back to being in the same boat as before.
This caused a lot of depression, anxiety, and just flat out frustration from the roller coaster of ups and downs I was on. Finally I had enough of the whole ordeal and looked into what was possible through my doctor to which I was referred to the wound care center at the local hospital. They had me apply for financial assistance through their department to try to get me approved so that I could get treatment/rehabilitation within their unit. Thank God I did because I was approved (wound care treatment is astronomically EXPENSIVE, especially without insurance!)... after several visits where they had taken razors to my wounds (I'm guessin' I don't have to explain how painful that was lol) to remove bad skin tissue that hinders healing, I was just completely spent on the pain and torture I was going through. Something had to give and it dang sure wasn't my faith.
So I left it up to the Lord to handle as I got on my social media and asked my family, friends and followers for much needed prayers after explaining what I was going through and how I needed a higher power and greater force to make a much needed change in my "progress"... and I'm here to tell you, to testify that it wasn't more than 24 hours after literally HUNDREDS of people put up prayers for me that I woke up the next day and looked down at my legs and they had almost COMPLETELY healed up! I was in tears! I had witnessed a literal MIRACLE! SIX months of issues and no progress ... 1 day of prayers and INSTANT healing! What a great and awesome God we have! My faith in the Lord was what drove me to ask for prayer in healing. We are told/promised by God that when two or more people come together in HIs name and pray that he will hear and answer our prayers and my story is proof positive of that! I'm so excited to share this story (and I'm very sorry for the novel it took to explain it but I want to ensure that the context of what took place comes across for those who read this)... I'm so stoked to give witness to God's greatness and ability to make miracles! I hope that this inspires someone to do the same. Have faith and let God handle what you can't. There truly is power in prayer and what's more is my faith has grown even stronger having had experienced the whole thing. God is good... all the time!

I was saved back in 97 got away from God 2 weeks after and didn't go back until 2007, flesh got in the way and i ran again in 2010, in December 2022 my sister in law encouraged me to start reading my Bible and praying again. Since then i have been honored to share my testimony several times and i am now the Chaplain for the Sheriff's Office i work for. My favorite verse is Ps 30:5. Glad you and your dad get the chance to fish together. The last time I fished with my dad in Florida was Headwaters. Our last trip to a lake together was about 7 months before he passed. I miss the conversations on the water with him everytime i am out

I was assulted a few years ago and the person kicked in the front fender of my car. The next day someone out of the clear blue sky came by and noticed the damage and fix it on the spot. No charge

I lost my left eye about 25 years ago I was shot in the face with 2600 psi from a paint gun with epoxy paint. The Doctor told my wife that I was going to die or be brain dead the next day. But what all the Doctors didn’t know was that God was in control of my life. I’m so thankful that God lad he’s hand between my eye and my brain if it was not for God’s miracles I would not have been here today. May God continue to bless you and your family

I'm going through a rough spell. I'm 67 years old and live in a nursing home. I'm basically confined to a bed and have circulation problems in my legs, especially my left one. I go for a final consultation tomorrow before they amputate just above the knee.

When I was 18 years old I was on the high board of a swimming pool approx. 23 feet in the air. I did a certain dive but all I saw below me was concrete. I hit the side of the pool head first. Well, I split my head open and broke my neck. I then fell into 12 feet of water. I hit the bottom of the pool. They tried to save me but dropped me again. At 12 feet on the bottom again they got me to the surface. The pool was full of my blood. I had lost more blood than the human body could survive. The doctor on the scene said I hag no pulse or heart beat. They loaded a dead person in the ambulance. God was aboard in that ambulance as my heart began to beat. to cut to the chase, 18 months later I healed up giving God all the credit. I was the football captain on our high school team. I lost all my chances to play college ball. Everybody who came to visit me in and out of the hospital said I was a miracle to be alive. Don't underestimate the power of the lord. I have come close to death several times in my life but the good Lord stepped in and sparred me. I got saved in Feb. 1974. I am a retired State Trooper of Florida still married to my high school sweetheart that also was at the pool that night seeing my high diving board accident. God blessed me with her. I love her more each day. I have learned more and more that we should depend on the Lord Jesus Christ in everything we do and say. That night when I had that swimming pool accident, the Lord saved me to be saved later on in 1974. The swimming pool accident happened on graduation night from high school in June 1965.
