I used to watch channel challenge on Gladiators when I little I used to watch it with my dad we always watched it together and now I can't my dad has passed away on last year on 13th of July 2020 now I am watching it my self and doing it for dad to create loads of memories again between as that's why I love it so much thanks again
The original UK series was the best of all of them, bar none! The music, the events, the Gladiators, the presenters, John Sachs' excellent commentary... perfect combination.
@@toptenguy1 his "that's not human" comment in the interview afterwards sums it up. It certainly felt inhumane how amazingly quickly he thrashed that eliminator. Incredible.
I noticed that Cobra and Rhino were the only Gladiators not to compete in this episode. I also find it strange that this was taped after the second International Gladiators tournament (based on Sachs' comments at 18:40), yet originally aired before it (this episode's OAD was 20 January 1996, while IG2 debuted on 20 April 1996).
If this is the case about this being recorded after IG2 (But shown before)then Rhino would have been absent due to the injury sustained in Pyramid in Episode 4 of IG2-not sure about Cobra's absence through.
A couple of hours too late, if you can psyche out the gladiator early in the event, you won easily. Additional targets would've made it more interesting.
Mitjitsu rumours that he was arrested for bank robbery and is serving 10-20 in a federal prison. It should be known that these are unsubstanitated bogus claims. There are no news articles to corroborate those claims
He Spent 6,000 Plus Days In Prison, However, He Spent That Entire Time Fighting To Clear His Name, And Got The Charges Overturned. It Was A Set-Up, And He Has Proven He Was Innocent The Whole Time. He Also Won His Settlement For His Wrongful Imprisonment Too.

It was one of the best shows on TV. I love this show so much.
Been looking for video of the 47-second Eliminator run for some time. Thanks for sharing.
I may be from the States, but I absolutely loved this show. Vogue was my favorite of the UK gladiators

Gah-Kai Leung: Agreed
@@nathanbyberg Did they show the UK edition in the States?
@@caffeinatedtrouble We only ever got the International Gladiator Specials. At least in my area anyways.
You are looking live at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, England! It is Gladiators!
Wesley "2 Scoops" Berry, the Greatest Champion EVER!
To be fair Paul field and phil Norman of the UK were very close behind him but he was the best
axelrayne69 wesley
Cant believe how quick he was. I thought Reynolds was quick but a foot race on this eliminator between those pair would have been great lol.
I disagree
Disciple8923 on what basis?
Wesley Berry is one of, if not the greatest Gladiators competitor of all time.
I never realised at the time, in fact I only found out recently that Amazon was actually Sharron Davies the Olympic swimmer.
Wesley Berry, America's best!
A great sportsman too
Cool and epic episode!!! I want Honduras to have its own version
Did lightning take a dive?
Thank you so much for these gladiators episodes, Reliving my childhood, Saturday nights are never the same!
DO you have the Ashes series at all?
Cliff D sadly not, still waiting on challenge TV or that one
Cliff D, we don't know if they are getting the Ashes Gladiators. 😊
I could watch wesley berry on that eliminator all day 😂,, that was effortless and speed personified lol.
The other guy had a head start AND ran a near perfect race.. And still got smoked. It's incredible. lol

Who’s afraid of the big bad wolf?
Geez that speed! Wesley was a machine.
I had a backstage pass for this event
Do you mind if I use this for a video I am doing?

I have a feeling this was commissioned because ITV weren't prepared to finance a full IG3, so they did the scaled-down version (i.e. this) instead.
Supershow
His wife is very pretty, but I was like "SHOW THE RACE!! QUIT CUTTING TO HER!" LOL
why did you post this video twice?
16:26; I guess we can call that one a "Sachs Jinx".
Wow, pendulum is dull. Too bad you didn't have Human Cannonball.
I honestly prefer Pendulum to Human Cannonball. BTW, I like to call the former event the "giant football".
They changed pendulum later so that you had to hit certain targets on the pendulum to score points with the Gladiator giving chase.
MindstormXL That ruined the event, IMHO.
A couple of hours too late, if you can psyche out the gladiator early in the event, you won easily. Additional targets would've made it more interesting.
pendulum and hit&run were awful events imo
1:01:00 enjoy the paint roller!
You couldn’t touch Two Scoops.
Hunter beaten on Duel?? What is this?!?
Wesley 2 Scoops Berry is the best 👍
No
Yes, His Is The Only Contender To Never Take An Loss. If That Doesn't Mean You're Not The Best, I Don't Know What Does.
39:00 - I assume by being a role model. He meant robbing banks.
