    As I quote the dev, the game’s beauty lies in the RNG. There’s over 800 rooms apparently with tons of easter eggs and references, meaning every run feels different from each other. Zeal also said that there won’t be a sequel or Floor 2, instead all updates will only be adding to the current gameplay with new encounters, monsters or rooms etc. That’s honestly really smart because it will keep the game replayability without needing to do a huge update like Doors’ Floor 2.
    I also like how they documents for both lore and gameplay hints. When you’re a beginner, dying doesn’t feel too terrible or frustrating because you will unlock more content from it.

      Tell Zeal to not add TOO many entities (over 100+ entities or 500+) or it would've been a generic game where you uncommonly hide from entities that may be unique or not unique.

      I have some ideas for unique monsters so hopefully they take community feedback
      But no matter how much replayabilty a game has people are gonna get tired if there is just one main map
      Idk I appreciate the uniqueness of this game and value it but I don’t know whether it’s fate will be good or bad

    Also this: The game has a lot of variety, and there are times you will never see a room during a run and other times you will. It provides uniqueness, and most of the time you will almost always see new rooms during a run, (unless you play a lot.) It also has a story, something that some games don't have. You're able to interact with lots of things, and has characters and voice to it.

    I have noticed a kind of pattern that most of the monsters in Pressure follow; they punish you for being off guard.
    Angler is fairly easy to see coming in the Hadal Blacksite, where there are lights that can flicker, but Pinkie doesn't make lights flicker, so you purely have to rely on your reaction time and alertness in order to survive it. If you're not listening, it might just spell your doom.
    Furthermore, like you said, all node monsters (monsters that rush through the room, like Angler and its variants and Pandemonium) are equally unpredictable in the Ridge, because the lights are malfunctioning, so you'll be even more prone to punishment if you're not constantly on alert and listening for any sounds that might indicate that a node monster might attack.
    The Wall Dwellers also make it so you have to be listening for foreign footsteps and looking behind you to avoid getting surprised by Sebastian laughing at your death and shoving the Wall Dwellers' document in your face. Along with that, they might just come running right back to you after you scare them off, which makes it so you're still not completely safe if you look at a Wall Dweller once.
    Squiddles also require you to be alert in order to survive them, because not getting jumpscared by them requires you to have quick reflexes.
    It's also best you don't randomly hop into a locker when a node monster is about to rush through the room, because the Puddles of Void-Mass might just already be occupying it.
    The Good People make it so you can never completely trust every door, and have to check to see if there might be multiple doors with the same number in a room, instead of just walking through the first one you see.
    And even if, with all of those monsters, the game still has you falling asleep, Styx and the Man from the Mindscape will occasionally pop up to very politely ''wake you up'' on the other side of a door.
    All of these monsters are made to punish you for not being alert and making clumsy mistakes because of it, which makes it so that you have to constantly doubt your surroundings and play the game in (slight) paranoia, almost never being able to truly relax, because you might just get killed by an ambush predator if you do. This definitely adds to the feeling of tenseness and danger that this game gives you, even if you are experienced with it.
    EDIT: I just noticed another commenter mentioned this, but this comment is a bit more of an extensive list of all the monsters I've noticed follow this pattern.

    Can i just say, how terrifying Wall Dweller is?
    It's the scariest thing in the game.
    Looking back for a second on a Hall and seeing it retreat, even tho u were sure that nothing was following you, is bone chilling.
    U never know when its following u, or if it's even there, right behind u.
    (And it's also great in a gameplay view, since it totally destroys the safety factor, now u gotta worry not only about the lights or windows, but your on footsteps)

      Plus it feels out of place (in a good way) because, you don’t really have anything… following you in doors games, and even if there was, it would probably be in a chase sequence and not in the way it kinda just… stalks you

      But you're right, it's definitely a terrifying entity. It gives you a feeling of dread and uneasiness everytime you walk forward without occasionaly looking behind you.
      It's like... You are fully aware that this thing exists, but you don't know where and when will it shows up.

    one thing about the monsters part: nearly ALL of the monster make you have to pay attention. Other fangames are just mindlessly walking around and getting surprised. There's some monsters that will make you paranoid from having to pay attention and worrying. Here's a lot of examples:
    Wall dweller: listen for footsteps and dont forget to look back
    Void mass: double check lockers
    Pinkie: always keep listening for audio cues, you can only avoid her by listening to her screeching
    Squiddles: gives you a split second to turn off your light
    Chainsmoker: only hide at the right time
    there's probably more but i feel like that's enough to proof how good the monsters are

    I think a key part of Pressure is that it not only made a different unique environment AND scenario, but USED both of these at every turn.
    Since the game takes place underwater, you actively interact with the water in various different scenarios. Flooded rooms, the Trenchbleeders, the finale, hell, even with things like Eyefestation and the Searchlights use the underwater themes to make for cool scenarios that you physically were unable to do if you were above sea level.
    And for the scenarios, it also makes a ton of sense. Yes, your goal is to get the crystal, but when you get it, a lot of things go offline, which transitions into the final stretch really easily instead of just being shoehorned in.
    And the fact that you have diving gear that can be rigged to kill you means that the game has a convenient kill-switch to avoid anything problematic, like going out of bounds. This also works well because you're underwater and it makes sense.
    The game used its environment and scenarios as _tools_ to create cool encounters and problems, which helps it stand out from other games because Pressure's unique setting lets it create new problems to face that you cant find anywhere else.

    i also think that in the beginning, the reason why peaceful music is playing is because of a sense of freedom once you arrive. thinking that this place isn’t so bad.

    It manages to create tenson, which Doors couldnt (imo). I suppose my phobia of being underwater contributed to this, but I entered a dark looooong hallway ehich inmediately made me think "Is something like the Seek chase going to happen?", and then I turned on my flashlight to see the walls were just windows, and outside was the skeleton of a BIG monster which reminded me that I was still underwater with living things roaming outside. That combined with the feeling something was going to happen in that hallway made me go into a flight or fight response

    One of my personal favorite things about this game is the rare encounters and rare rooms, I’ve won 3 times and died over 30 times and I’m still finding new rooms that hold funny Easter eggs or hell, after I beat the game twice, during my third victorious run I ran into an encounter around door 70 where I had to cross a massive trench while avoiding getting crushed by a trenchbleeder, this encounter is not guaranteed and that is awesome
    Not to mention the original ideas this game has on top of the traditional doors fan game entities, things like pandemonium searchlights, squiddles, and the DiVine when they get programmed are all amazing ideas

      I think I've died close to 30 times (some on purpose for the sake of info on what killed me) and haven't beaten it. I got to Sebastian once and then died maybe 3 doors later thanks to fucking pinkie I think. Haven't made it to him again

    For me I think it’s the sheer quantity mixed with an amazing amount of quality. There are what feels like endless rooms, but each room is so thoroughly detailed so that all of them feel enjoyable to traverse. Also, the scale in this game is immense. Doors has a very compact and closed in environment, unlike pressure which has tons of large and open rooms that pour out into the darkness of the ocean. The two trench bleeder encounters (The rare one after the first searchlights and the second finale one) Are some of the best parts of the game for me, combining this huge vast area with these gigantic mechanical walkers left me awestruck. Phenomenal game

      The trenchbleeders, even though you're not guaranteed to witness them in a run, are some of the best setpieces this game has to offer, and really expresses the whole "huge" theme the game is going for with their entities.

    I love that this game has a lot of variety. I remember one time on a few runs with my friend, we discovered a unique encounter. Instead of going through the first searchlight section, we had to cross a trench and avoid being stepped on by the Trench Bleeder. It was a horrifyingly amazing experience. The best part compared to the searchlights is that no music played. Just the eerie massive stomping of Lucy crossing above us. I don't think I've seen anyone talk about this encounter or seen videos on it.

    the thing that makes pressure so different is the amount of room variation. doors has that feel where there’s a bright light that’s orange with a basic wood. everytime you go into a door in pressure, it’s a different environment each time. i remember playing and seeing this room where flesh was on the wall. it was creepy af, and it really set the vibe on being disturbing

    Random fact from the official discord: another way they're gonna stand out from doors is by making the big encounters have more variety. And by that, I mean in one run, you can see Searchlights, but in another, you'll see something else.

    Ngl but whenever i always get to the ridge, my heart always keeps pumping loudly as i made this far and i dont want to die right now. And to makes things even more challenging, i keep my graphics to 1 because im playing on my phone and whenever a Searchlights is far away from me, its model disappears because of my render distance. And we cant forget about that damn finale. That part is just....... Its just so ungodly and i hate it but when i made it past that part all my fear goes away as im now safe from danger. So ya all in all, Pressure is the best Doors fan game to ever exist, and it is also the few games that *actually* make you feel either stressed and scared or courageous and confident

    Another thing I will say that makes it so different from Doors fan games and Doors in general is that the over all ‘fear’ I get from this game isn’t really fear
    It’s anxiety and I get so much from that and paranoia, too, (ingame)
    Like in the last few doors past 100 I am always looking over my shoulder and sticking my head as close to my monitor as possible so I can hear or see any monsters.
    Thie constant feeling of dread or anxiety is something you don’t get in most standard mascot horror games, also there is no main character or icon like how Doors has the eyes and Piggy has the pig
    This leads me say that Pressure is less of a mascot horror game and more of a psychological horror game
    Just the constant darkness dread and paranoia throughout the game messes with you, psychologically, and so I dub it that title.

      nah the game is still have so much unique things in it, the room variants are just too much that keeps players playing or the easter eggs, etc. Im not saying gianni is bad but the players are not playing only for him tho.

    I love how they introduces the bosses (or forced encounters)
    instead of entering the room and then a cutsence roll out which cut the pace, you're given a watch room (or whatever it's called) to see the entities before you decide to face it, unlike doors where they just force you to keep moving right after encountering seek or figure

    the ground encounters feel a lot more intense then doors also, like i was on the edge of my seat during the ending of the 2nd one but the doors one really is just "oo collect the things and then do puzzl and then win"

    This game does really good at making you feel on edge, which was something I never experienced in my time at doors, wall dwellers make you constantly turn around and listening out for an extra pair of footsteps, pinkie has you listening out for more things as if the wall dwellers weren’t enough, chainsmoker punishes you for hiding too early, blitz punishes you for hiding too late, froger even punishes you for thinking you’re in the clear, you can’t even trust every door, the ridge is plain terrifying, literally everything in this game is designed to make you tense and I love it

    -Sexy blue whale, █████████, a sea snake, a great white shark, a female anglerfish, a silver spinyfin, mantis shrimp Shopkeeper
    -A lot of voice acting
    -Lore
    -YEa it got lore
    -Sebastian
    -FUCKING A LOT OF VARIETYS ROOM
    -This shit feels like complex with differense uh... um idk this word
    -ULTRAKILL, Iron Lung vibe
    -Z-13
    -Bossfights that doesn't sucks
    -rooms feels connected with each other
    -The Sabotuer

    I don’t care how much yall love Sebastian his snarkiness he has when I die is annoying, In trying to play pressure mostly free of guides so that every death is a learning experience and he always is like “Did you die, try to not be stupid”. Still a great game!

    I completely agree with what you say on the video.
    I'm a huge fan of Doors and i'm really good at it, but someday i did see a game called pressure, at first i tought without seeing any videos that this game was a copy of doors, like the other, but when a first played it, i was completely wrong.
    Pressure did get my love in the first moment i played, the game is really good in a lot of factors like you did say on the video, the mosters, the voice acting and, specially, the enconters with the searchlights, it just epic.
    Doors and Pressure are both really good games, but i think that Doors did the boost up on that game gender on Roblox, but pressure did what a good fangame do, with is take the core base game and completelly twist to be original.
    Like, i did play a lot of pressure, when i did a simple run on doors, i fell like, something is missing, and this is a problem that i have a lot with doors and not with pressure, after you beat the game on doors, the game fells really more easy, with dosnt happened to me with pressure, even i beating this game like 3 times, i still fell a little bit what a fell on the first time, with is something that i lost on doors. (Also, sorry if my english is a little bad)

    honestly what does it for me is the quality. Not only is the game at a surprisingly high quality level that i didnt even know could be done in roblox, but the music and voice acting is done REALLY well. The encounters are very well done, despite there only being 2 + the trenchbleeder passing. Id say it far surpasses doors in quality, my only gripe is the rush-like entities. Its not that they arent hard/too hard, its just that after playing multiple doors-like games (endless doors, rooms, etc), the "png glides by and if you dont hide in a locker fast enough it kills you" kinda gets old. It does sorta help by making them different, having not just the normal one, but 4 other variants (delayed fast, rebounding, no light flicker, slow + faster locker drain).

    In total honesty and from a wiki lurker, The cannon was NOT MENT FOR THE SEARCHLIGHTS, Rather an unknown species of fish or aquatic animal over the blacksite preventing submarines from reaching it. The cannon rounds in lore would be enough to kill the unknown species in a singular round and scare the rest away.

    One of the things that make pressure unique is Eyefestation’s mechanic; instead of just “oh don’t stare!” you have to actually pull away from it instead of simply facing another direction and calling it a day.

    Here's my two cents:
    I am a Doors fan. I would even say I'm a Doors PRO. I then found this game through Gianni's Twitter of all things, and thought "he's voicing a guy, in ROBLOX. Man, I'm interested"
    I didn't found this game because of some Doors video or somethin, I found it from scrolling through Ultrakill shit. And yknow somethin? This game makes me feel less like a Doors fan, but more of an SCP fan, due to how each entity is treated like "SCPs", and I love the concept and lore so much.
    This game is a combina of three of my favorite things: Doors, Ultrakill, and SCP. And I love every bit of the gameplay and lore, from the very first beta test I participated. Every playthrough is genuine different, more explorations n such, and the lore to how things work around the Blacksite is just so fascinating!
    I will never, ever call this a "Doors killer" or "better than Doors", even if it has the stuff that Doors doesn't. They're both are equally my favorite games, and I never want them to pin against eachother. But it is one that stands out from the rest of the games inspired by it, and I'm looking forward to more updates from the Devs!

    pressure really captivates players emotions, no matter how much you play 4 5 times, it always scary when you making to room 115, and the ambience sound always making you on alert all time, thats what i like most about pressure, like we really FEEL pressure from the game while playing

    Imo, the monster designs are just a lot better
    I played doors for a little while, and it makes me mad that I can get around 3 different hall-rushers but im STILL punished for just being in the dark. Its one thing to have a hazard be created by another monster, but its entirely different when the hazard requires you to micromanage where you look for multiple rooms at a time or else you take free damage
    Pressure also did their version of the "fake door" better. On one hand you might get distracted by another monster and run out the room before you can get a look at the room number. You have one of two options now, luck out or take 30% because you didnt see the room number. In pressure there's more than just seeing the room number, and imo its a bit more interactive because you need to *listen* to which one is which fake, and theres very little distraction when it comes to rooms like this
    Overall I think the hint system is just better in general. Doors gives you flavor text that you're supposed to remember for every playthrough forward. Pressure gives you a beastiary, so if you've been gone for a while you can just read up, hop back in, and youre back on your feet again
    Also you dont have to pay for revives, and its honestly rewarding when you get to come back into the game for all your troubles vs paying 5 bucks to keep going

    I played this game for the first time a day or two ago, not knowing much about the game. I made it to Sebastian for the first time and obviously knew I was safe so I just sat there listening to dialog until randomly out of nowhere a wall dweller comes up from behind me, and poor Sebastian just had to sit there and watch me die. I was so confused lol.

    A really wishy-washy part of me wishes there could be some kind of collab-sequel with Archemeux(developer of Anomalous Activities and A-888) where you play as the security guards, I feel like her designs could add to this universe and provide an unique horror experience where you have to pick your fights really damn well.
    Of course, that's never going to happen for a bajilion different reasons, but it's a fun thought.

    I'm really struggling and almost all of my deaths feel unfair. Like crazy unlucky situations like what had recently happened, I got the crystal, the power was out, and that green shark spawned. From what I could see/comprehend, the room was a very long hall with a window right at the end of it, making it hard to escape it's grasp. And then an angler spawned. I couldn't tell where the hell I was because of both the lack of lights and the shark so I couldn't find a closet and the angler got me. This, and having strange lag spikes that inconveniently start as an angler spawns, so I just suddenly die once the spike calms down.
    Come to think of it, roughly 70% of my deaths have been because of anglers due to not being close to a closet, lag spikes, etc.

    I remember when I reached My first door 100, My Heart was pouding Hella Fast non-stop And Feeling On edge, This Game's finale is too amazing, Although, I died from angler (Sadly) But my first time reaching door 100 was Just heart pouding till like door 70-100 (After the first searchlight encounter) that din't felt along time ago, Pressure Is not that scary, the jumpscares are not the terrifying But, the environment, The Screams of monsters like angler and its 4 variants is Just To scrazy that makes you feel on edge like even if hid in a locker (Like delayed hiding) It would litteraly Make you think you're not safe from hiding even if you're safe! (Especially Blitz) Good Game! I din't expect this was a doors fangame too! Goodjob Pressure devs! They really do give that pressure on The finale 😅

    If you ask me, Pressure is a prime example of taking a concept and improving on it.
    Horror games rely on their atmosphere and immersion to keep the player hooked. If a a horror game is just a selection of spooky monsters and jumpscares, it's going to get boring quickly. This is the main problem that DOORS suffers from - it's generic and bland. A spoOOOooOky abandoned hotel full of creepy monsters with barely any correlation between each other and have the same chaotic loud noises and fast-moving images when you're jumpscared. Eventually the game is no longer scary aside from the cheap jumpscares and it becomes more of a chore.
    Pressure on the other hand, makes the Blacksite feel like a heavily classified secret facility you'd hear about in conspiracies. The node monster jumpscares are a continuation of approaching you, now at a slower pace with the noise rising from their ambient sound, before they bite down and kill you. The various other jumpscares, while harder to predict, have enough "warning" (such as Wall Dwellers kicking your leg and Searchlights having their eyes on you) or are tame enough to not make you jump out of your seat.
    TL;DR: Pressure doesn't rely on loud and chaotic jumpscares to scare you.
    The mechanics of the monsters are also much better. Instead of just playing around with the noise and speed or using rebounds like DOORS does, Pressure made each node monster different from one another. You've still got the rebounds from Froger, but the others are far different. Pinkie doesn't kill the lights but is much louder, Chainsmoker punishes people who jump in lockers too early by being slower and reducing your hiding time, Blitz catches you off guard with its sheer speed while also having indicators for its arrival, and Pandemonium is much harder to hide from and has a locker minigame to keep you on your toes.
    Squiddles are also a direct upgrade from Screech - instead of having a nuisance that doesn't utilise the dark at all, Squiddles will actively punish you for trying to light up dark areas and make it harder to see.
    I could go on and on about everything Pressure does better, but I'm not trying to build a tower of text here. You get the point.

    i still consider him an opp, also for some reason he called angler ''rush but worse''?? rush is a blob with eyes and a face, angler is an actual fish. dumbahh guy 0/10 never wouldve got along anyway.
    Iimo I think pressure is better then doors, simply because pressure feels unique. Whilst playing doors gets old, each pressure run feels fresh and unique. You, for once in a roblox game, can't play pressure again- Sebastian will introduce himself to you once and then never again, for example. *Everything is unreplayable, which makes you appreciate it.* There are also about 800 different rooms in the game, which makes each run even more unique. If you want to get the true pressure experience, play the game blind first, and then watch a guide after maybe.
    I personally never really liked doors, mostly because the boss fights are annoying asf. To me, doors got tiring really quickly. I always hated the bossfights, and found them excruciatingly long. I haven't really reached the Hotel+ ending and just gave up on that.
    Finally, pressure doesn't attempt to be inspired by every doors mechanic. There never was a Timothy, nor a screech (although squiddles are close to screech, they don't work the same).
    Btw, Im terrible at explaining why i like certain things *more* then others, so don't expect me to know a bit about arguing my way through. I litteraly cannot find out what the reason is for my disliking of doors and fascination with pressure. Maybe the previous argument of being more different and unique? Maybe because it is simply well-made in general? Feel free to suggest why i like the silly fish sci-fi game.

    I hate this game cause of my thalassophobia but it's very VERY FUN (i remember being in the large water area, the second I saw the parasites i screamed and left the game xd (this was in the demo btw are they still the game?))
