Hello James, Thank you for the review. I have this nice device. I was wondering what kind of stand are you using. And if you use a fan to cool it down? Thank you, Esdras
If you are using an Apple, you should prob get the Apollo. But as a PC user, I would get the Antelope. And audio quality is extremely hard to quantify since there are so many ways to do it. If you're looking at sampling rate, then on paper it's identical... If you are looking at the signal to noise, then the Apollo wins by a marginal 123db vs antelope's 120db. As far as plugins go, it's something that you have to try for yourself, just like everything else. Antelope offers more in-the-box arsenal, unlike with UAD you have to pay for each plugin.
Does the Zen have its own wifi router built-In to use the remote app? In other words, can I connect it to an iPad without having a wifi network available if I'm out on location?
Thanks James. I am returning my Zen Tour today a getting my Apollo Twin back. I couldn't pack the Antelope up fast enough. In my mind The Tour didn't sound as full as my Twin.
