Thank you - I’m glad you enjoyed! It doesn’t matter how many copies you have or if you sell - I think it comes down to enjoying your collection or organization. If you have one, then I think you’re a collector. 👍🏻 Thanks for watching!
i picked up some 1908 artist cards and noticed the indentations on some of the corners and didn't realize where the indents came from until I saw this video. I like chess a lot and there are some chess Stollwerck cards too. It seems like there's a little bit of everything. The artwork is very nice, and descriptions seem interesting. I know some German and can understand a little bit.
That’s awesome - I’m stoked you found this video helpful. I really enjoy these Stollwerck cards too. Most are relatively affordable. What year are the chess cards from? Also, if you didn’t know, there are German cigarette cards from 1930 that have chess players on them too. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment.
Thank you so much - I was super thrilled when I was able to get these all from the same seller! It is definitely rare to get them all together and 99.99% complete. I’m glad you enjoyed….and thank you for the taking the time to watch and comment!
Those cards look amazing by themselves, but to have the books with them is smashing. Congratulations on snagging them and thank you for sharing them with us. Beautiful works of art. At least I’ll know what they look like in case I ever see them out in the wild. Wow!
Thank you, Ken! I was looking for a little while trying to find good copies of these albums and I was just super lucky I was able to get them all from the same seller. I’m glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thank you, George - I’m glad you enjoyed! We have a lot of similarities in our collecting habits, so I figured you might like this one. I just noticed that you posted a new video with an intriguing baseball trade card thumbnail - I’ll be checking it out shortly. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!
There’s sooo many to choose from and the majority are very affordable! I know A&G has a ton of non-sports as well, but I like to branch out and look beyond the US issues - tons of deals to be had! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment, Scott - it’s much appreciated!
What a great showcase! I am a big fan of the Stollwerck cards and it was really cool to see the albums with the cards in them. What a great find, grats! Have a great Sunday!
Thank you, Sensei - I think their details and colors are fantastic. I was thrilled that I was able to get them all from the same seller. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!
Wow! Those albums and cards are amazing! Such beautiful colors and artwork! Love the Da Vinci! Really sweet couple of Beethoven and Mozart too! I enjoyed seeing and learning about these! Thanks for sharing!
The cards from Album 1 pop up every now and then, but it seems like the price keeps creeping up on them. Good luck on the hunt, Matt! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.
Yes, I was thrilled to find all of the complete albums from the same seller. They pop up sometimes on eBay, but rarely all together. They’re gorgeous in person. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thanks, Scott - they pop up once in a while on eBay, but I was just super lucky to snag them all from the same seller. Thanks for watching and commenting!
HOLY CRAP! WOW Goldmine! i will take any Beethoven :) im guessing they dated Album 1&2 as 1899 due to them issuing more (as the double album) due to popularity
As I was putting this video together, I was thinking that you would be one of the few that would really enjoy this, Eric. That’s definitely a possibility regarding the date. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. I’ll keep you in mind for the Beethoven 👍🏻
Awesome collection, thank for showing, I like to multiple cards of the same subject as well and usually don’t sell so does that make me a hoarder…
