@aminaayad4928 may Allah bless you. There is a difference of opinion. I went along with this one as it seemed to have a stronger basis, and Allah knows best. The Story of Israa and Miraaj is a bit telling of the relationship of Prophet Issa and Prophet Yahya. And the level of miracle of the mother of Mariam of having a second child after a long time of not having children was miraculous, then the story of Zakariya which is more miraculous of having his first child at such extremely old age and then the biggest miracle of Mariam herself having a child without being touched by a man. May Allah be pleased by all of them.
Dear lecturer, I have been struggling to get pregnant for over seven years of marriage. Doctors telling me the chances are very low due to my infertility I’ve been listening to various lectures concerning Zakaria a.s. On RUclips. however, they were very superficial or very short. as far as this lecture is concerned , I’ve been listening to your lecture over and over again and I’m just amazed by every single word that is used in the surah describing the story of the prophet Zakaria. Especially the part when Allah says that peace is upon Yahya the day he was born and the day he will be resurrected, I’ve always been wondering when reading these parts why is Allah mentioning bestowing peace on a prophet who is in peace anyways. Even though I’ve read surah Mariam several times, I’ve never thought of the chronology prophet Zakaria mention his old age and the infertility of his wife. I’ve never wondered why doesn’t he blame his wife? again I’m again so amazed by the fact that he does not complain to Allah because of his wife’s incapability of getting pregnant nor does he blame her for that. this is such a blessing. Whenever I read this part where the prophet Zakaria mentions his old age, I saw it as if it was normal to say “ya Allah I am old and my wife is barren”. Yet there is so much knowledge and so much wisdom behind these words. And so much patience to say these words, especially in this chronology. Again, may Allah bless you for clarifying and going into detail and elaborating on such important words that are uttered by Prophet Zakaria
